Chandler and his crew head to the U.S. Military base at Guantanamo Bay in hopes of collecting food, medical supplies and fuel replenishments. Three teams are dispatched to carry out these varied tasks. While there, they come under attack by escaped Gitmo prisoners and enlist the help of a grizzled private contractor who's been surviving for weeks and living off the land.

The ship suffers mechanical issues with their generators and engines. This also affects their RO water system. They ship is down to approximately 3,000 gallons of fresh water and that must last the estimated 6 days that it will take them to find land using their one good engine. The Captain and XO realize that they only have 4 days of fresh water, even using the strictest of rationing. It also affects their ability to cool the ship which results in major problems for the lab where the doctor is trying to find a cure. A former enemy now must be relied upon to help with the virus research but he has his own demands first.

Chandler after saving his children, meets up with his men who were not on the ship or got away and inform of what happened--that Granderson's people took over the ship. Chandler says they can't get it back by themselves so he decides to throw a wrench in Granderson's plans. They attack one of her facilities and wreck it. Someone there says he's part of the resistance. He takes them to meet the leader who is planning to attack Avocet, Granderson's base of operations. Nolan upon learning what's going on goes to Avocet and sees that Scott is being held captive. Back on the ship, Grnaderson's people tries to collect all of Scott's material which they need to mass produce the cure. But the one thing they need the primordial was hidden by Quincy and he's been shot. They're ready to do what they have to, to get it. One of the crew who was not caught tries to throw a wrench on their plans.

So they try to save her. Back on the ship they lock Slattery up but he gets out and goes to ops and discovers the crew who are not being held and tries to help them regain the ship.
