Open with Puck upset at himself for having a crush on Lauren. It turns out she wasn't into the fooling around when they did a "Seven Minutes in Heaven."Finn might still have feelings for Quinn and is thinking of ways to get her away from Sam. If he can get her to kiss him again, he believes he might have a shot.Blaine tells Kurt there is a person he's known a short while for whom he's starting to have feelings. He wonders if signing a valentine is okay. Kurt clearly hopes Blaine is talking about him. This week's theme is love. Will wants the kids to pick a partner and sing to them what they believe to be the world's greatest love song. Finn says he's going to host a $1 kissing booth to raise money for Glee. This leads to an argument where the entire club rips Santana for being mean.Puck asks Lauren if she'll go to Breadsticks with him on Valentine's Day. She tells him he'll have to try harder to woo her.During an emergency meeting of the Warblers council, Blaine tells the guys he's in love. He asks the group to help him serenade this person "off-campus." This is a huge request because the group hasn't performed in public in more than 80 years. Kurt tell the rest of the guys he thinks there is some benefit to playing in public.Rachel and Mercedes point out to Kurt that Blaine probably isn't talking about him. Rachel is planning to dominate Finn's kissing booth. The girls want Kurt to scope out the guy Blaine actually likes. Mercedes thinks they both should focus on singing more than boys. The male members of New Directions (led by Puck) perform Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls." Afterwards, Puck tells Lauren the song was dedicated to her. She said it made her feel like crap.Quinn tells Finn she won't kiss him again.Sam seems very jealous of Finn. He even questions why Quinn didn't pay for one kiss at Finn's booth. She says she will kiss Finn later.Finn gives Rachel a kiss on the cheek at the booth. She's furious. She admits to still being in love with him. He gives her a present he ordered before they broke up. It's a star necklace. He says she's a star and thinks it makes sense for them to be alone for a while. After complimenting each other having two of the best girlfriends in school, Artie and Mike perform Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)."Lauren and Santana get into a fight. Santana doesn't fare well. Puck begs Lauren to go out with him. She says she'll consider it if he makes a formal presentation.Quinn gets a kiss from Finn (with Sam watching) at the booth. Fireworks go off for both of them, but she plays it off like no big deal. She then sneaks back and tells Finn to meet her the following day in the auditorium. The guy Blaine likes is a Gap employee named Jeremiah. The Warblers help Blaine serenade him at work with Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone." Afterwards, Jeremiah tells Blaine he's been fired. He adds nobody at his work knew he was gay and it would matter since Blaine is "underage."Santana figures out Quinn and Finn have something going on behind the scenes. She kisses a kid with mono to get his germs and then goes to Finn at the kissing booth.Puck finally gets Lauren to agree to dinner with him for the night before Valentine's Day.Quinn and Finn meet-up in the auditorium. Before they start to fool around, she points out they're cheating. She thinks she loves Sam but isn't sure, which is why she won't dump him yet. They kiss.Kurt tells Blaine he thought he was the guy Blaine wanted to ask out. Blaine says he's never been anyone's boyfriend. Neither has Kurt. Blaine says he's not good at romance and doesn't "want to screw this up." Kurt has a suggestion for something they can do on Valentine's Day.Puck gets stood up by Lauren and fools around with a waitress.Finn kissed every girl in school. He seems sick. Tina sings "My Funny Valentine" and begins to sob. She collapses on the floor, overcome with love. Both Finn and Quinn start to feel ill. Santana gleefully points out it's probably mono, a disease that probably wouldn't be passed by a peck at a kissing booth. The nurse tells Finn and Quinn they have mono. Quinn tells him nothing can happen between them until they figure things out with Sam and Rachel.Puck tells Lauren he likes her for being a badass. She says she's not looking for someone to fool around with and wants to take it slow. She agrees to see him on Valentine's Day "as friends."Rachel asks a loopy-sick Finn what is was like when he kissed Quinn. He pauses when Rachel asks if there were fireworks when he kissed her. She says this frees her up to focus on music and helps with her song selection.Rachel sings Katy Perry's "Firework."At Breadsticks, Kurt sings with the Warblers for the restaurant's Lonely Heart's Dinner. They perform Wing's "Silly Love Songs." We see Puck and Lauren getting along well at dinner.

When she says she's doing her best Will tells her that's not good enough anymore: "It's about doing better."Will makes note of the fact Emma still hasn't introduced him to her parents. She says she wants to take things slowly and doesn't believe him meeting them right now would be a good idea.Mike's father brings him to see Figgins. Mike promises to do better and asks for a chemistry tutor.Beiste tells the football team they're dancing in West Side Story to help them work on coordination and IQ.Mercedes' boyfriend Shane thinks it's a mistake she's being so nice to Rachel given that they are competing for the lead role in the musical. He tells her she's better than Rachel. This leads to Mercedes performing "Spotlight," which seems to be her audition for Maria. The directors love it and Rachel seems stunned by how strong Mercedes was.Mike tells Tina he's not going to audition for the play because of his father. She thinks he should be honest with his father.Kurt has a significant lead over Brittany for president. Brittany and Santana walk by and talk about the mess boy have made since holding public office. With help from most of the female characters Brittany sings "Run the World."Beiste and Emma tell Will it's too close to call between Rachel and Mercedes for the role of Maria. The directors tells the girls they will be singing "Out Here on My Own" as kind of run-off for the part. Rachel tries to hug Mercedes for good luck but she isn't having it.In the school's dance studio Mike goes through some steps while debating what to do with his life. He hears his father and Tina, then ultimately decides to audition for the role of Riff, the second male lead, with "Cool." Incidentally "Cool" is sung by Ice & the Jets after Riff's death! Afterwards he says this is what he loves to do and it can never be a waste of his time.Shelby tells a carb-loading Beiste that she's having trouble getting anybody to join her rival Glee club. Beiste tells Will he should take the bull by the horns with regards to Emma's parents.Kurt gives Blaine flowers as a celebration for his feeling that Blaine should be getting the Tony part.Mercedes gets into it with the rest of the Glee members during another dance practice. She starts to storm off and Will says if she does she's out of the club. This transitions into a performance of "It's All Over" from Dreamgirls. Afterwards we see Mercedes all along on the stage: "It's over," she says.Mike's mother comes to see him at school. Mike's been skipping his chemistry tutoring and she had to cover for him. Mike tells her that he doesn't want to be a lawyer or doctor, that art is what makes him feel alive. She says she just wants him to be himself and says she'll help him talk to his father once the musical has been cast. She always wanted to be a dancer and Mike gives her a few lessons.Rachel and Mercedes have their sing-off. Before they sing Finn and Shane each give them pep talks. Both sing well, but Rachel seems convinced that Mercedes was better.Rachel go to see Beiste and says she has something "very important to discuss."Emma is stunned to come home and find that Will has invited her parents over for dinner without her knowledge. She tells him that she wasn't ashamed of him, she's ashamed of her parents, who are "ginger supremacists." They are also pretty negative with respect to Emma's OCD and Will ends up defending her during dinner.Kurt confronts Rachel about her telling Beiste she wants to run against him for president. She says she's worried she won't have anything special for her senior year since Mercedes may get the lead. Kurt thinks she is choosing her transcript over her friends. The directors tell Rachel and Mercedes that they have decided to double cast the role of Maria. They are adding another week of performances and each will have the lead for six shows. Mercedes thinks she was better and says the part was only double cast to protect Rachel's feelings. She withdraws her name.Rachel tells Finn about the way she got Maria. He thinks this means she'll withdraw from student class president but she isn't so sure. He says he isn't sure who he'd vote for.Prior to going to bed that night Emma is having an attack of her OCD. Will apologizes for not believing her about meeting her parents. She needs help and gets on her knees to pray. Will gets down there with her to help and this leads into a performance of Coldplay's "Fix You." During the song we see the cast list posted. Rachel and Blaine are the leads and Mike got the part he was looking for; Santana is cast as Anita, the second female lead.Mercedes goes to see Shelby and says she's interested in being in her choir.

Open with Rachel and Finn talking about the fact Quinn's accident stopped them from getting married.
Quinn rolls up in a wheelchair and tells Rachel and Finn that nothing about her plans have changed. She calls her first day back in school the happiest of her life and sings "I'm Still Standing."
Quinn tells the gang that she has no use of her legs, but it's still possible she'll make a full recovery.
Figgins makes Roz co-coach of the Cheerios, in part because her being pregnant is compromising her work with the team. Figgins is mostly concerned with money and Sue gets him to agree to give her the team back if she helps the Glee club win nationals and the $10,000 that goes along with it.
Sue takes over Booty Camp for New Directions and takes a hard-nosed approach to the job.
Will wants her to dial it down. Sue mentions that she's about to find out the sex of her baby. Emma says she's go with her.
Blaine's famous commercial actor brother Cooper drops by school and Kurt is star-struck. Sue stops by and has him sign her breasts.
While discussion Senior Ditch Day Rachel apologizes to Quinn for her role in the accident. She thinks they should be talking about it more, but Quinn reminds her she's not going to dwell on her situation.
Puck wants Finn to go with him to California after graduation and start a pool cleaning business. Finn says he's going to New York with Rachel. Puck asks him to drop by a house and take a look at a broken Jacuzzi for him.
Sue has Cooper speak to the Glee club. He tells them he's going to teach an acting class the following day. This leads to him and Blaine singing some Duran Duran. Cooper is pretty full of himself and we can see that Blaine is irritated.
Out at a restaurant Blaine complains about how negative Cooper always seems to be with him.
Artie give Quinn a wheelchair lesson on the steepest ramp in town. He talks to her about tough it is to go to an amusement park while in a wheelchair. He wants her to come with him instead of going to Six Flags.
During his acting class Cooper tells the kids to avoid college and New York. He continues to give them some pretty terrible advice. Blaine tries to point this out, but Cooper pushes forward. He has them read through and episode of NCIS he read for. During this lesson Blaine yells at Cooper who continues to basically ignore him.
Puck continues to push Finn about the pool cleaning business. He tells him he needs to think about himself instead of Rachel
Will and Emma join Sue at her doctor's appointment. The baby is a girl, but the amniocentesis came back with "irregularities."
A defiant Blaine directs a performance of "Figher" at Cooper.
Quinn tells Finn she won't be going to Ditch Day with the rest of the gang.
Becky has heard about Sue's baby. She tells her to work on her patience.
Artie takes Quinn to a park frequented by wheelchair users and amputees and they sing "Up Up Up." We alls see a montage of the rest of the kids at Six Flags. Quinn and Artie argue about his belief she isn't accepting what has happened to her.
Joe tells Quinn he has been praying for her to accept whatever he fate may be. She tells him she thinks he'd be inspiring to some people she knows.
Quinn brings Joe to the next Booty Camp. Sue addresses the kids and tells them she's there in part so her baby can soak up some of their optimism. She promises to be nicer.
Kurt tries to talk Blaine into meeting with his brother before his big movie audition. Blaine doesn't think talking will work.
Instead Blaine sings "Somebody That I Used To Know" to his brother, who eventually joins in. We get flashbacks to their childhood. Afterwards Cooper says he's been so hard on Blaine because of how talented he is. Cooper admits his audition got cancelled. Blaine has an idea and they leave to tape an audition tape for Cooper.
Finn mentions the idea of California to Rachel. He mentions that conversations about their future have been one-sided. She is steadfast that she needs to be in New York and needs him to be with her. Finn says he wants Rachel to make sure she's in love with him rather than what she wants him to be and storms away.

Glee
Mercedes sings Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" in the school hallway and is soon joined by a mournful Rachel, Kurt and Santana. Will watches them, reflecting on the passing of a superstar. The song continues as the students enter the library and sit down at one of the tables ... and suddenly the foursome is on stage, standing under spotlights and singing in harmony. Another spotlight shines on an empty spot on the stage. For Whitney.
Later, Will and Emma sit in a school office. "Don't get me wrong: I love Whitney, too," Will says. "But you'd think after two months they'd let it go." Emma then shares a story about how the death of Princess Di affected her. That moment represented the end of her childhood. "So Whitney is their Diana," Will concludes. Exactly. Later in glee club, Will announces that the group will next honor Whitney -- and he wants them all to think about how their own lives will change in the coming months with the end of senior year. Rachel seems to care little about the psychology behind the lesson and just wants to start immediately rehearsing Whitney's version of the "Star Spangled Banner."
In the hallway, Kurt approaches Blaine, wondering which Whitney song to sing (as they have all apparently been written for him). Blaine declines the offer to help Kurt rehearse, though. Later, Kurt heads to the music store and meets an admirer named Chandler from another school who is trying out for university drama school. When Kurt announces that he is looking for the perfect Whitney song for his own audition, the admirer insists Kurt sing "One Moment in Time" before asking for his number. Our boy Kurt is mighty flattered.
Back in glee club, another dance number has broken out! This time it's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." And, sure enough, we are soon inside a music video complete with elaborate choreography and an uber-uptempo beat. It all ends with a shower of glitter. Afterward, Brittney tells Quinn that she loves to dance with Santana the best. Quinn is pretty hurt by the declaration. Later, Joe tries to comfort Quinn and offers to accompany her to physical therapy. "To me, being a Christian isn't about talk," he explains. "It's about actions."
Will then approaches Emma with a gift: he has hired a wedding planner named Mr. Lavender. More news: he wants to move the wedding up to next month. "Is this about S-E-X?" asks Emma. Will says it's about simply loving Emma and wanting to be married ASAP. Kurt then gets a text from Chandler. "It's nothing," says Kurt to Rachel. "It's just fun!" Kurt then admits that his relationship with Blaine is that of an old married couple. The spark is gone.
In glee club, Joe announces that he has been working on a Whitney song with Quinn during physical therapy. So Joe grabs a guitar and sings a duet of "Saving All My Love For You" with Quinn. Intercut with the song are tender scenes from physical therapy. There seems to be quite a spark there. Afterward, the ladies want to know if Quinn is interested in Joe. "Joe and I are just friends," says Quinn, who explains that Joe almost kissed her but pulled away at the last second. "Joe's not into me," Quinn says. "I don't blame him. Who would be?" This makes all the ladies, including Quinn, very sad.
That night, Will and Emma meet Mr. Lavender, who looks more like a linebacker coach than a wedding planner. The planner says he needs more time than a month to work his magic, which doesn't sit well with Will. "We can do this ourselves!" he says. "We are getting married in May just like we agreed." Will hands Mr. Lavender his walking papers. Joe and Sam then have a heart-to-heart about Quinn as well as the possibility of sinning. "You have to decide if you want to get closer to God or closer to her," Sam advises. Later, Blaine discovers that Kurt has been getting sexy (but corny) texts from Chandler. "This is cheating, Kurt!" Blaine says. Declares Kurt: "That's texting!" Kurt then explains that Blaine no longer compliments him. Blaine is incredulous -- he switched schools for Kurt! Blaine feels as if he has been betrayed and, turning his feelings into song, belts out "It's Not Right But It's OK" at glee club.
Rachel approaches Santana. "You knew we blew it, right?" Rachel asks. "We could've been singing together for three years." Santana admits that it was a waste as their most recent duet was awesome. "I think I just realized that I'm going to miss you," says Santana, who is kind of disgusted with herself. That night, Kurt and his dad have a heart-to-heart. Pops says that he is going to miss his son when he leaves for school. "The older you get, you just see: just none of it lasts," says a melancholy Burt. "I'm going to miss you, Kurt." The two embrace. It's a touching moment, so touching that Kurt belts out "I Have Nothing" at glee club. He is obviously singing to a sad Blaine, too.
Emma then offers to counsel Kurt and Blaine. "Brutal honesty is the cornerstone of any relationship," she says. So Blaine explains that Kurt is texting a new guy -- and that Kurt is always talking about how amazing New York is going to be. "It's like you can't even wait to get out of here!" Blaine says. "How is that supposed to make me feel?!" Kurt promises that Blaine won't lose him. They proclaim their love each other and embrace. Later that night, Emma returns home to find Will has bought champagne to celebrate. "I have found the perfect wedding location," says Will. The place? A campground. Emma is less than impressed. Finally, it comes out: Will is worried that the Glee kids will not come back for the wedding if it's in November. "I just don't want them to leave," says a sad Will. "These kids changed my life!" Emma is understanding and assures Will that the kids will never forget their teacher.
Later, Joe helps Quinn rehab -- and it becomes very clear that he is interested in her. "When I'm with you, I don't care what God says about sins of the flesh," says the obviously conflicted Christian. Quinn is flattered. "So what is this? You and me?" Joe asks. Answers Quinn: "I don't know. Something new." The episode ends with Artie and Mercedes singing "Your Love is My Love." Eventually, all the glee clubbers appear to join despite the fact that practice is optional. None want to miss the last classes of their senior year. Will watches from the rafters, smiling.

Opens with Rachel's voiceover about her life-long dream of Broadway being dead. She's refocusing on prom. But Becky makes fun of her for being a failure in the bathroom.
Figgins meets with Brittany, telling she's making a mockery as student body president. If she doesn't get her act together soon he will abolish her post.
Brittany meets with the prom committee. She shoots down their prom theme ideas. As president she decides a theme on dinosaurs, then fires the whole committee.
Sue announces the prom court nominees, which includes Finn and Brittany for king, and Quinn and Santana for queen.
Rachel tells Finnn she's okay with not being nominated for prom queen. Brittany addresses New Directions and tells them about the prom theme of dinosaurs.
Rachel loses her temper when she sees a prom poster with Finn and Quinn.
Quinn's rehab continues to go well. Joe wants her to show everybody her progress, but she wants to wait until "it's real" and prom night.
Becky is upset for not being nominated for prom queen. Sue talks to her about her bad behavior.
Rachel sings "Big Girls Don't Cry" with Kurt and Blaine. All three of them decide they don't want to attend prom. Rachel tells the kids she and Kurt are throwing an "anti-prom party" that night. Santana rips her for being selfish.
Finn and Quinn pins up posters in the hallway and he notices Quinn's injury gets sympathy votes.
The night of prom arrives. Brittany, in her Tarzan dress, and some kids are singing "Dinosaur".
Finn finds Quinn standing up in the bathroom. He thinks she is lying to get votes and is pissed that he's not with Rachel. She begs him to stay until the mandatory dance.
Rachel, Kurt, Blaine, Puck and Becky go to their hotel room.
Santana sings "Love You Like a Love Song." During the dance Finn starts demanding Quinn to stand up and finish the song on her feet. Joe intervenes but Sue comes over to take control and asks if Finn wants to be rejected from the prom, and she also asks Joe, "What are you looking at, Jar Jar Binks?"
The anti-prom party is not going well until Finn shows up and sees Rachel in her prom dress. He says he loves her and that prom "sucks without you." Rachel, Finn, Kurt and Blaine go to the prom, leaving Puck and Becky behind.
Joe sings "What Makes You Beautiful", joined by Sam, Artie, Mike and Rory. Brittany tells Blaine he can't wear any hair product.
Becky is killing Puck in strip poker. She tells him how piss she is about not being nominated for queen. He makes them crowns for king and queen of anti-prom and this makes Becky happy again.
Rachel apologizes to Quinn for how she acted because she is still jealous of Quinn, but being her friend is something she's proud of and tells Quinn she voted for her.
Puck and Becky arrive at prom with their crowns. Becky distracts Sue long enough for Puck to spike the punch.
Santana and Quinn count the count votes. Brittany just got a few votes for king. Quinn beats Santana by just one vote but feels no difference when she finally gets what she wants for long time. Then Quinn suggests they "make a difference."
Kurt embraces Blaine's "free of hair-product" look. Figgins announces Finn as prom king and Rachel (gasp!) as prom queen. During their dance she asks if this is a joke. Finn tells her how amazing he thinks she is. While Quinn sings "Take My Break Away" with Santana she gets onto her feet. (Yay!)

The episode opens with Sue talking to Mercedes and Kurt about the emergence of Unique with Vocal Adrenaline. She thinks the only chance they have is to fight fire with fire. She wants Kurt to wear a dress at Nationals under the name "Porcelina". Kurt declines, saying that just because he's gay doesn't mean he cross-dresses, but Sue thinks it's the only way New Directions wins at Nationals.
Rachel sings "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz, and leaves Tibideaux a fourteenth message asking her come see her perform at Nationals. She's convinced she'll win the judges' MVP award this year and thinks if Tibideaux sees this she'll reconsider letting her into NYADA.
For Nationals, Will plans to have Rachel sing "Paradise by the Dashboard Light". Sue is going to help organize a prop-heavy Troubletones performance of "What a Feeling" featuring Kurt. Will is letting Sue help because he wants to win. Tina leaves, because she's upset Rachel is getting a solo.
In the hallway, Mike tells Tina, that as a junior, she's being selfish. Rachel explains the importance of Nationals to Tina, but she doesn't seem to care. Tina says she wants one moment to feel like Rachel.
Blaine supports Kurt not wanting to sing in drag at Nationals. While reading a text from Mike, Tina falls into a pool at the mall and bumps her head. She looks at herself and discovers that she is Rachel Berry.
The next day at school, Tina is seeing everybody mixed up: Finn as Kurt and vice versa, Puck interchanged with Blaine, Mr. Schu with Coach Sylvester, Sam with Rory, Santana with Artie, Mercedes with Brittany, Mike with Joe, Quinn with Sugar, and, of course, Rachel with Tina. Tina sings Céline Dion's "Because You Loved Me" and gets her standing ovation. Afterwards, she gives Rachel (who is Tina) a pep talk. Tina finally snaps back to reality.
Sue is upset with how practice is going. Kurt says he has an idea.
Some of the girls confront Beiste about still being with Cooter. Beiste tells them she's giving them a second chance but the girls aren't sure. They want her to get away and come to Nationals. She declines.
Kurt shows the gang a secret taping of Vocal Adrenaline's practice. They have perfected their choreography and Unique looks terrific. Sue still thinks they must have a guy in drag to win.
Tina tells Rachel about her dream, including the recommendation that she see Tibideaux in person as Tibideaux is doing a master acting class in.
Puck has volunteered to be the drag performer. Will has gotten fed up and wants them to learn choreography.
Hockey player Rick "The Stick" torments Puck for wearing a dress and not graduating. Puck challenges him to a fight outside by the dumpster.
On the ride to see Tibideaux, Rachel tells Tina she thinks they're going to win Nationals.
Rick ends up getting the better of Puck during the fight. Puck pulls out a knife, but Beiste shows up to break things up. Inside Puck tells her the knife was just a rubber prop. Puck snaps, saying he's worthless. He thinks he's garbage and starts to break down. Beiste comforts him.
Tibideaux tells Rachel she's tired of her taking time away from other students. Tina steps in and tells Tibideaux that Rachel is the "real deal." Nationals are going to be in Chicago, where Tibideaux will be performing. Tibideaux tells her to leave and Rachel says she'll never give up.
Cooter apologizes again to Beiste and says it will never happen again. She tells him she's been sleeping with a knife under her pillow and says "I'm out." She leaves her ring on the table, and he gets pissed.
Puck sings Taylor Swift's "Mean" in the auditorium and Beiste joins in. Beiste talked Puck's teacher into giving him another chance at the test the next week. She's going to help him.
Tina tells Sugar, Rory, and Joe that they need to put in the work if they want to be the next Rachel. Mike hears this and smiles.
Beiste asks Will and Sue if she can chaperone the trip to Nationals. She says she's left Cooter and Sue hugs her.
Rachel and Tina sing Irene Cara's "Flashdance...What a Feeling" together as the buses for Nationals are loaded up.

Open in Chicago at Nationals with Mercedes (Amber Riley) sick with food poisoning. Sue (Jane Lynch) tells Will (Matthew Morrison) she wants the win for the kids even more than for herself. Will picks Quinn (Dianna Agron) to fill-in for Mercedes while Sue plans to help her bounce back.
Will tells Emma (Jayma Mays) he's worried - New Directions never seem to win. She assures him they're ready.
Downstairs, some of the kids are fighting. The pressure seems to be getting to all of them. Will thinks the passion is a great thing. They don't want to break, since they have the first (and worst) performance slot of Nationals.
Rachel (Lea Michele) sees Jesse (Jonathan Groff) outside Nationals. He knows about her attempts to lure Tibideaux (Whoopi Goldberg) to Nationals. He's under tons of pressure not to lose for a second straight year. Finn (Cory Monteith) walks by. Jesse congratulates him on the wedding and wishes him good luck.
We learn Finn bet the $500 he and Rachel set aside for their honeymoon with the hockey players that New Directions would win.
Finn tells Will they want to win for him. A Teacher of Year award is coming up, but Finn says they don't need to wait on that -- Will is their "Teacher of a Lifetime." Mercedes shows up last minute, seeming fairly healthy. She still wants Quinn and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) to join her for the Trouble Tones song.
Before the performances the judges are introduced: Lindsay Lohan, Perez Hilton and an alderman named Martin.
New Directions starts their performance with "Edge of Glory" by Lady Gaga. Backstage, Rachel notices Tibideaux isn't there. She takes the stage and absolutely nails "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" by Céline Dion. Halfway through, Tibideaux arrives and takes a seat. Afterwards, Tibideaux stands and cheers. The kids then sing "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf. Tibideaux seems impressed.
Afterwards, Mercedes and Kurt (Chris Colfer) go to see Unique. She tells them the pressure is getting to her and she can't conjure Unique. Mercedes and Kurt assure him he can do it.
Vocal Adrenaline take the stage. They begin with Unique singing "Starships" by Nicki Minaj. Watching in the audience, the New Directions kids look stunned. This transitions into "Pinball Wizard" from Tommy. Afterwards, the Glee kids stand and cheer, but look concerned.
In the judging room, Martin tells the other two he's a show choir junkie. Lohan liked a team called the Scale Blazers from Oregon. Martin really liked the New Directions' energy. Lohan thought New Directions were likeable. Perez thought New Directions were terrible and really loved Vocal Adrenaline and Unique.
Jesse takes Tibideaux aside and tells her Rachel is the most talented person he's ever met. He says she'd make a great addition to NYADA.
To Rachel's dismay, Unique is awarded the MVP award. The top three is then announced: In third place is the Scale Blazers, leaving Vocal Adrenaline and New Directions contending for the top spot. In the end, New Directions is named national champion.
New Directions returns to McKinley to a hero's welcome. With Grouplove's "Tongue Tied" being sung in the background, girls kiss them and a newspaper is flashed showing them on the front page. The hockey players pay off their bet to Finn. Sue gets the check and keeps her job with the Cheerios. The kids party it up with sparkling grape juice. The team places the enormous trophy into the school's trophy case.
Figgins (Iqbal Theba) calls Finn and Rachel to his office. He tells them as co-captains of the team he gives them bumper stickers and pom-poms, and then gives them a wedding gift. He wants New Directions to perform at a special event the following day. They ask what it is and he says "Can you keep a secret?"
Will thanks Emma for the whole year: "It's been incredible." Sue walks in and tells them the awards ceremony is about to start. She tell them her source tells her she's going to win Teacher of the Year.
Figgins has Finn and Rachel announce the winner of Teacher of the Year: Will. They both say kind words about Will before he comes up to accept, then the curtain pulls back. The kids sing "We Are the Champions" by Queen. During the song, they pull Will up onto the stage.

Open with Will (Matthew Morrison) giving the guys their assignment -- graduation songs. The seniors are supposed to pick songs to honor the underclassmen and the seniors songs to say good-bye. Will sings an emotional version of "Forever Young" to the kids.
Kurt (Chris Colfer) says he's become a more confident, socially-conscious person since arriving at McKinley, but is worried about being emotional. Burt (Mike O'Malley) meets him in the auditorium with his graduation gift. He said he's proud of their relationship and performs the "Single Ladies" dance Kurt did a few years ago. Kurt is happy and speechless.
Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt talk about what is going to happen after Kurt graduates. Kurt assures him they'll figure out the long-distance thing.
Kurt thanks the men in New Directions for making him feel welcome. All that matters is their friendship. He sings Madonna's "I'll Remember."
Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt, and Finn (Cory Monteith) make a pact to open their NYADA/Actor's Studio letters together.
Mercedes (Amber Riley) has a Hollywood gig lined up as a back-up singer. Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) has gotten a scholarship to Joffrey in Chicago.
Santana (Naya Rivera) is feeling self-conscious because she's going to Kentucky for college. She tells her mother she wants to go to New York instead of Louisville. Brittany (Heather Morris) is flunking her classes and is planning to re-do her senior year.
The seniors sing "You Get What You Give" to the kids who will be back.
Finn is concerned Rachel has been giving him a weird vibe and feels like she's settling. She tells him not to worry.
Finn is happy with his high school career and is no longer worried about his future. He thinks he nailed his Actor's Studio audition.
Will tells Finn he blackmailed him into joining Glee club by planning the pot in his locker all those years ago. Finn says "you are so much cooler than I thought you were".They laugh.
Finn tells Carole (Romy Rosemont) he wishes he could do more to help his father, who he thinks is a hero. His father is the only part of his life that hasn't fallen into place.
The underclassmen thank Finn for his sacrifices to New Directions and sing "In My Life" to him.
Quinn (Dianna Agron) says she doesn't feel emotional, perhaps because she is so proud of her friends. She's worried about Puck, who is trying to pass his test and graduate.
Quinn gives Rachel a rail pass so they can visit each other next year. Rachel says she thinks Puck (Mark Salling) was at his best when he was with her.
Quinn finds Puck and tells him she cares about him and thinks he needs to get his swagger back. She wants him to remember the guy he used to be and kisses him. The kiss seems to change Puck into a more confident guy, ready to attack his test.
Roz tells Sue (Jane Lynch) they have in common a dislike for Principal Figgins.
Sue tells Quinn she admires her for her perseverance. She thinks she'll go far in life. Quinn cries and hugs her.
Puck gets a C- on his test (A Puckerman A+), meaning he will graduate.
We see the graduation ceremony. Finn sings "Glory Days" as everybody gets their diploma.
Rachel, Kurt and Finn open their envelopes. Finn did not get in and looks destroyed. Ditto for Kurt, who didn't get in and also looks miserable. Rachel is last. She opens her letter and says "I got in."
The next day Rachel is surprised she's sad despite getting in. Her plan is to defer her acceptance for one year so she doesn't have to go to New York without Finn and Kurt.
Santana's mother gives her a large check. It was the money she was saving to pay for Santana's college. Santana tries to give it back, but her mother thinks she should either go to college or New York. She says the choice is hers.
Finn and Rachel leave for their wedding. Instead Finn drives her to the train station. He tells her they aren't getting married yet. She isn't deferring her acceptance. He tells her he's 100 percent sure she's something special and needs to leave. He tells her he's going to join the Army. He says he loves her so much he wants her to go to New York and be a star. If they're meant to be together, it will happen. Rachel and Finn sing "Roots Before Branches" as she walks to the train. The rest of the kids are there to send her off. We see her arrive in New York as the season ends.

Open with Rachel in Dance 101 class at NYADA. Her instructor, Cassandra July, is a tough one, particularly on Rachel.
Jacob tells us what's been going on at McKinley. The New Directions are now popular, sitting with the Cheerios at lunch. Tina has broken up with Mike. The biggest question seems to be who will be the "next Rachel" between Blaine, Tina, and Brittany.
Rachel meets an attractive junior named Brody who is a junior in the same major. He helps Rachel feel better about being a freshman at NYADA. Brody has played a small role on Broadway and says Cassie's recommendation was what got him the part.
Kurt drops by McKinley and meets Sue's new baby, as well as Sue's new top Cheerio, Kitty. Kurt is a few weeks away from starting class at community college.
Auditions for New Directions are beginning. Beforehand Will introduces Unique as an official new member. The kids tell him about the competition to be the new Rachel. Unique wants in on the competition.
The four Rachel wannabes perform "Call Me Maybe" for Artie, with the idea being that he will pick a winner and they will tell Will their decision.
Kurt is working at a coffee shop in town. He tells Blaine and Brittany that he's planning on taking part in auditions. Kurt seems a little worried it's pathetic that he's still hanging around.
We see Cassie's former TA tell her that he's leaving for a small Broadway part. He credits her recommendations for landing him the role. We see Cassie make herself an alcoholic drink.
A sophomore named Marley drops by the Glee kids table at lunch and says she's planning on trying out. Sam tells Unique not to wear his make-up during school, worried that it will ruin their recent elevation to cool status. Kitty and two football players begins making fun of an obese lunch woman. Grudgingly Artie participates. Marley sees this from a nearby table.
We learn that the lunch woman is Marley's mother.
Rachel tells Cassie she smells booze on her breath. This leads to Cassie showing everybody she still has it, performing a dance number to Lady Gaga's "Americano."
Auditions begin. Several are terrible, but a kid named Jake takes the stage and is impressive. But he loses his temper when Will tells him he's heard enough, tossing a piece of equipment off the stage.
Tibideaux introduces the freshman to the first of two chances they will have to sing publically during their first year. The second will come during a winter concert, but only based on invitation. The first girl gets up and is quickly stopped by Tibideaux, who cuts her on the spot. Rachel is next. She sings "New York State of Mind," and we are cut back and forth between Rachel and Marley, who is singing the same song for her New Directions audition. Both perform very well.
Marley sees that she's been added to New Directions, the only new member this year. Jake is furious not to see his name on the list.
Marley tells her mother about the kids making fun of her. Apparently at their last school Marley didn't have any friends because her mother was the lunch lady.
Blaine tells Kurt he thinks it's important that he leave for New York. He thinks Kurt is "stuck." Blaine sings Imagine Dragon's "It's Time."
At lunch the next day Marley interrupts the cool kids when they make fun of her mother, admitting their relationship.
Rachel tells Brody about Finn. She's still having trouble fitting in and he gives her some good advice, saying it's just because she's changing. They take a picture together and it seems to help Rachel.
At the next class Rachel promises Cassie she'll keep getting better until she's the best student Cassie's ever had. Cassie's not impressed.
Burt drops Kurt off at the airport, convincing him the best thing for him is to go to New York and struggle for awhile. Kurt is scared, but seems to agree.
The entire Glee club comes to Marley as a group and apologizes for making fun of her mother. Marley and Unique are too much for the cool kids, who drop New Directions back to their old status as losers.
Will brings Jake into his office. It turns out he's Puck's half brother, although Puck has no idea. Will says he think Glee club would do him good like it did Puck, but he needs to lose the chip on his shoulder. Jake says he's not going to change who he is and leaves.
The whole club sings "Chasing Pavements."
Rachel calls Kurt crying, saying she misses him and "everything." He surprises her by being right behind her and suggests she get a new roommate.

Open with Brittany talking about how great things are going in her senior year. Blaine looks over her shoulder and asks "Who are you talking to?" and she replies, "Oh. I thought I was doing a voice-over". This leads to her leading the Cheerios in a performance of "Hold It Against Me." Sue hates it and calls Brittany into her office. She says she can no longer tolerate the impact Brittany's terrible grades are having on the team and kicks her off of Cheerios. Brittany is no longer allowed to wear "the high pony", referring to her ponytail. Making matters worse is that Santana is busy at school and doesn't seem to have time for Britt.
July won't let Rachel even practice the tango, saying she doesn't have enough sex appeal.
Will and Emma tell Brittany they're worried about her seeming depressed and want her to meet with Emma regularly. Brittany passes. As she leaves the office she continues her voice-over.
In an effort to help Brittany, Will has Glee perform another week of Britney Spears songs: It's Britney 2.0. Up first is Blaine and Artie singing "Boyfriend."
Kurt and Rachel find a large, empty loft to rent for their housing. Over wine Kurt tells Rachel he's going to try and get a job at vogue.com. She tells him about July, and Kurt tells Rachel that "Crazy July" is infamous for blowing up during a Broadway performance when someone's cell phone went off. Kurt thinks she should stand up to July.
Marley tells Unique she's interested in Jake. Unique thinks he's bad new, leading to a performance of "Womanizer." Even after that, Marley tells Jake she's interested in hanging out.
Rachel asks Brody if he'll dance with her in July's class. He agrees.
Sam, Tina and Joe sing "Three." Brittany gets up and walks to the wall, where she plugs in her electric razor. She then proceeds to try to shave her head, ala Britney Spears. After Mr. Shue stops her, she is on the way to her locker and Jacob ben Israel rushes her with a microphone asking her all kinds of invasive questions. Brittany takes another page from Britney's book and attacks him with an umbrella as another student takes pictures.
Will confronts Jake about cutting classes. He apologizes for not taking Jake on in the first place and tells him how much Glee changed Puck. Jake insists that he doesn't need or want to change.
Jake and Marley perform a slow, accoustic version of "You Drive Me Crazy" in the bleachers. Afterwards they nearly kiss.
Brittany continues to act in a disturbing fashion, now talking only to her cell phone. The rest of the New Directions say they want to help her by having her be the lead performer at an upcoming assembly. She says she'll only do it if she can pre-record her vocals and lip sync. They reluctantly agree, with the understanding that Mr. Shue can not know.
Dressed in a sexy little black dress, Rachel performs "Oops I Did it Again" in July's class with help from Brody. July still isn't impressed, telling Rachel that she'll never get the sexy parts, just parts like Maria in Sound of Music and Shrek in Shrek. Brody tries to stop her, but Rachel charges that July is jealous of her and the rest of the students for their talent and for the fact that their careers are still ahead of them while the teacher's is over. She calls July a "You Tube joke". July tells Rachel that she is "done" and kicks her out of class. Brody speaks up for Rachel, but seemingly to no end.
Jake comes to the defense of Marley's mother after several jocks make fun of her at lunch. Will jumps in and brings him to meet Puck. Puck says he never truly became a man until he was in New Directions. He has to return to L.A., but tells Jake that he'll always be his brother.
The assembly goes terribly. Brittany is lethargic and eventually it becomes clear she was lip-synching. The kids are booing, the Glee club is humiliated and Will is furious, pointing out that this put them in jeopardy of being removed from future competitions.
July tells Rachel she's hard on the kids because of how hard the real world can be. Reluctantly she tells Rachel that she's still in, though she'll be on probation. She also makes her hand wash dance clothing.
Sam tells Brittany he knows what she was doing. She was intentionally hitting rock-bottom in order to be just like Britney Spears. Brittany goes to Sue and says she wants back in the Cheerios. Sue will do it, but she has to turn around her grades. Will and Emma are tutoring her.
Brody drops by Rachel and Kurt's place with flowers. He makes a move on her, but she says she can't do anything.
Marley is crushed to learn Jake and Kitty are dating.

Jake is introduced as the newest member of New Directions. This leads to Marley singing "Everytime."
Britney walks down the hall in her cheer uniform and high pony tail.
Rachel paints over the large "FINN" that she had put on her wall, surrounded by a heart.

Open with Blaine saying his senior year is time for him to shine. He sings "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears for Fears as we see him going crazy being involved with extra curricular activities. He tells Brittany he's running for class president.
Kurt interviews with Isabelle Wright of Vogue.com, who turns out to also be originally from Ohio. After a few questions, she ends up hiring him to work with her on the website.
Brittany asks Artie to be her running mate. When she promises to basically let him run things, he accepts.
Will is having trouble coming up with ideas. Brittany and Blaine begin to argue over the race.
Sue tells Will his problem is the teaching profession finally beating him down.
Sam is a little bit upset Brittany didn't asks him to be her running mate. She says it's because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. She connects him with Blaine, who accepts him as his No. 2, and then challenges them to a debate.
After a staff meeting Wright asks Kurt what he thought about her team's ideas. She's having trouble being a manager since she can't say no to anybody. She starts panicking.
Artie is concerned Brittany needs help with her verbal preparation. Blaine also works on Sam's appearance and debate prep. This leads to Brittany and Sam singing "Celebrity Skin" by Hole.
At the show choir committee meeting there is discussion of funding. Will says he'll try to get on a government committee.
After classmates make fun of Rachel's clothes, Kurt says he's going to change her life. Late at night he brings her to the Vogue.com offices. Wright surprises them and Kurt tells her his plan was to do a makeover for the website. She loves the idea and helps him. This leads to a mashup of Tony Bennett's "The Way You Look Tonight" and "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from Annie.
Kurt shows it to Blaine, who thinks the video looked great. Kurt seems not to be concerned with what's going on with Blaine.
Will talks to Emma about the panel. He filled out the application but hasn't yet applied. If he's selected he'd be away from school and the kids for months. She thinks he should chase his dream in the same way he's told the kids to.
Artie's first answer at the debate goes on and on and is highly detailed. Sam is asked if he's ashamed of being a stripper, and starts taking off his clothes. Blaine says he's offering change. Brittany says "I love you" to the school, then promises to try and have school year-round, including weekends.
Wright tells Kurt she forwarded her video to her superior and it went over well. They're going to re-shoot the concept, but he's getting credit for the idea. She suggests his future may be in design rather than Broadway, and invites Kurt to lunch.
Rachel and Brody talk about their transitions to being cooler. They sing Sheryl Crow's "A Change Would Do You Good" together. Afterwards they very nearly kiss and Rachel tells him she wants to cook him dinner the following night.
Blaine and Sam win the election. Busy with Wright, Kurt ignores Blaine's call. Blaine tells Sam he feels alone without Kurt. He did everything for Kurt and, with him gone, none of it matters. Sam tells Brittany he voted for her. They seem to be getting closer.
Will mails in his application.
Rachel and Brody have pizza together. They exchange secrets, and drink. Finn's name is mentioned and he says he's "hand's off, just friends." Even then, they kiss but get interrupted by a knock at the door. It's Finn, who's there to surprise her. He looks at her, sees Brody, and Rachel's face falls.

Open in the cafeteria. Jake and Marley talk about being poor. Blaine and Brittany watch them and contemplate young love, with Blaine looking a little sad.
The next morning, Rachel tells Kurt the night before she and Finn didn't even speak to one another. Finn tells her that two weeks in, he shot himself in the leg with his own gun (which he named Rachel) while cleaning it. She thinks he should use the opportunity to spend a year in New York with her and check out NYADA.
Santana is home from college and we see her and Brittany spend time together doing some laundry. Brittany is reading a book for an after-school club she's involved with.
Kurt and Blaine are having difficulty staying connected. Blaine is supposed to visit in two weeks.
Finn is impressed with how at-home Rachel seems in NYADA and he is pretty certain it isn't the place for him. He's not sure about their future. Blaine and Finn sing "Barely Breathing" and we see their relationships may be coming to an end. Blaine even asks a boy he met on Facebook named Eli if he he'd like to hang out.
Kurt and Rachel want Finn to come with them to a karaoke bar. Blaine shows up unexpectedly.
They run into Brody at the bar. He wants Finn and Rachel to sing a song together, but Finn suggests that since they're student they should perform the duet. Rachel and Brody sing "Give Your Heart a Break" while Finn watches intently. Blaine then gets by the piano and performs "Teenage Dream." Kurt looks concerned during what is an emotional performance as Blaine's crying as the performance continues.
After the bar, Finn tells Rachel New York is too big for him. Kurt asks Blaine what's wrong, and Blaine says he was with someone. At the same time, Rachel admits to kissing Brody. Blaine says that when he needed Kurt he wasn't there. Kurt is crushed. All four sing "Don't Speak."
The next morning it seems like both relationships are over. Finn wakes early and is about to take off, but Kurt finds him, hoping that it would be Blaine. The stepbrothers hug and Finn leaves.
Kitty is running the group Brittany is involved with, the Rapture-based Left Behind club. To prove a point about how it feels they trick Tina's assistant Dottie into thinking she's been left behind. She's devastated. Brittany tells Santana that was what Santana did to her.
Finn stops by McKinley to see Will. He gives Will a hug and starts weeping. Blaine tells Finn that Kurt is refusing to talk to him. Will is letting Finn hang out as he thinking things over. They're trying to select the fall musical. Finn tosses out Grease and everybody likes the idea.
Will has been selected for the Blue Ribbon panel and he asks Emma to come with him to DC for a few months. She doesn't seem keen on leaving her job for such an extended period and this turns into an argument.
Blaine sends Kurt flowers. A guy at work notices and Kurt tells him what's going on.
Santana stops by school to tell Brittany something she doesn't know how to phrase it, so she decides to sing her "Mine." Santana says she's hasn't been a good girlfriend, but she doesn't want their relationship to end with somebody cheating and confesses to having had an "energy exchange," basically meaning she saw a woman smiling at her in a coffee shop and she [Santana] smiled back. They both cry as they essentially break-up.
Marley asks Jake how he can be with somebody like Kitty. He says a lot of it has to do with the fact nobody makes fun of him when he's with her. Kitty walks by and starts making fun of Marley and her mother. After one crack too many, Jake breaks up with her and Kitty promises that it's not over.
Rachel flies to Ohio and meets with Finn on stage at McKinley. She yells at him for hiding from her for months. He doesn't think he has as much to offer as somebody like Brody, but she reminds him he was the first person who ever made her feel sexy. She wants to spend the rest of her life with him, but says she can't do it right now. She dumps him. Finn, Rachel, Brittany, Santana, Kurt, Blaine, Will, and Emma sing "The Scientist."

Open with Sue talking about Christmas.
Finn notices that Artie appears to have in an accident. He blames falling on the ice and the lack of proper ramps. He had to be helped up by freshman girls and is reaching the breaking point of being in his chair.
Artie daydreams about not being in his chair. He wakes up in the nurses office and walks down the hallway. Rory is there as his Christmas guardian angel, showing him what would have happened if he'd never been in the accident. Tina is still stuttering, Becky is a pregnant slut, Kurt is a whipping boy and Puck and Finn are jerks. Will is an alcoholic who never started Glee and is still married. Rachel is a librarian. Only Brittany seems to be unchanged. All of it is because Artie's relationship with them wasn't the same.
Artie meets with everyone and tells them about what happened in the alternate universe where they were in Glee. Artie gives an enthusiastic rendition of "Feliz Navidad." Finn isn't impressed.
Artie spots a chair in the hallway. It's Quinn's. She was never able to walk and ended up dying. Artie sits down in the chair and wakes up with a better attitude. On the way out of the nurse's office he rings a little bell on the Christmas tree.
Rachel and Kurt discuss their Christmas plans. Kurt is planning to stay there for the holiday. Burt shows up unexpectedly with a tree. They talk about family memories before Rachel leaves for a cruise.
Kurt and Burt go to see a musical, then grab some hot chocolate. Burt tells him he has prostate cancer, but says it's been caught early. Kurt is worried because of Burt's heart issues. Later that night they exchange gifts. Burt is given a NYADA hat and shirt. Burt's gift for Kurt needs to be picked up at an address. It's Blaine, waiting for him at the ice skating rink. They skate and sing "White Christmas." Afterwards Blaine says they will always be there for one another no matter what happens.
Puck comes to Jake's defense when he's made fun of for his religion and race. Puck says in part he's in town to help him. He wants Jake to join him in California.
In California Puck brings him to a meeting on Paramount's lot. Puck grabs guitars and they sing "Chanukah, O Chanukah." Puck brings Jake to a house where he's been cleaning the pool. This lie results with Puck being honest about how rough things have been for him. Jake wants him to come back with him to Lima for Christmas.
Back in Lima the Puckermans have dinner at Breadsticks. Their mothers, who don't care for one another, argue over the boys' father. Jake's mother tells Puck's mother that she didn't know Jake's father was married, and he never wore a wedding ring. The boys try to convince them that at the end of the day their father ran out on all of them. The mothers end up friendly.
Brittany is handing out preposterously expensive gifts to everybody. The week before she heard about the Mayan apocalypse and decided to cash out her savings and share the money with her friends. Sam tells her he believes the Mayans as well. They start a club which basically consists of them being brutally honest with their friends. Sam and the Cheerios sing "Jingle Bell Rock" to Brittany. Afterwards Sam proposes, saying he'd like to marry her before the world ends.
Coach Beiste marries Sam and Brittany in a Mayan ceremony on December 18. Four days later, Sam and Brittany are surprised when they wake up and the world hasn't ended.
It's faculty Secret Santa time. Sue ends up with Millie Rose, Marley's mother. Sue can't think of what to get her. Sue overhears Marley and Millie talking about Marley's eating disorder and how much those sessions will cost. Marley sings "The First Noel" for her mother.
Sue tells Becky she's going to sell the ancient tree she cut down and use the money for a good cause.
Millie and Marley wake up on Christmas day and find gifts and cash from Sue including a re-gifted sweater from Benetton that Becky didn't want.
Puck tells Jake he's thinking about moving back home.
Beiste tells Sam and Brittany that their wedding isn't actually legally binding. The kids feel empty since the world didn't end. She lies and tells them a new calendar was found and the world has two more years.
On Christmas day it seems like Burt and Blaine are getting along swimmingly. Blaine says he's thinking about applying to NYADA.
Millie thanks Sue for what she did for them. Millie says she can't accept the money and tries to give it back. Sue gives it right back to her. Millie asks her to come with her. The Glee club is waiting in the auditorium and sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

Open with Sam telling Blaine a theory he has that the Warblers cheated at sectionals. He points out their high-flying routine and the fact one of the singers was noticeably missing at sectionals.
At student council Tina suggests that they have a Sadie Hawkins dance. She references the last meeting of the Too Young To Be Bitter club, when many girls are feeling a lack of power. It passes, much to Blaine's chagrin.
Kurt is trying to find his niche at NYADA. He considers Adam's Apples, the school's show choir.
The boys are nervous about being asked to the dance.
Beiste talks to Finn about losing his choir room. He's having trouble coming up with lessons. Beiste suggests he use the dance, which is a metaphor about empowerment.
Finn tells the kids this week that the girls will sing to the person they want to take to the dance.
Rachel tells Kurt that Brody just spent the night. Things seem to be going very well. She warns him to avoid Adam's Apples, which is the lowest rung of the social totem pole.
Tina sings "I Don't Know How to Love Him." Afterwards she asks Blaine to the dance. He looks stunned and tells her no.
Adam, the founder of Adam's Apples, tells Kurt his organization needs and wants him. Kurt balks and Adam tells him to watch them sing. Kurt watches them perform "Baby Got Back" (cough, Coulton, cough) and seems to love every minute of it.
Brittany talks to Marley about asking Jake to the dance. Marley says she's not sure where she stands with him and Brittany tells her she needs to find her power. They sing "Tell Him" together. Afterwards Marley asks Jake to the dance and he says yes. Brittany asks Sam and he also says yes.
Kitty corners Jake in the hallway and tells him to dump Marley and go to the dance with her. Kitty points out that Marley is too conservative romantically and says she can offer more in that department.
Tina apologizes to Blaine, saying she forgot about him being bullied at his old school. He tells her has a crush on a straight guy and doesn't want to go to a dance where everybody else is romantic besides him. Blaine finally tells her the guy is Sam. Tina thinks they should go the dance together as best friends and just have fun. He agrees.
Jake asks Puck what he should do with the Marley/Kitty situation. Puck tells him to avoid Kitty and go with the girl he really likes, Marley. Puck promises to take care of Kitty.
Adam continues to spend time with Kurt, who realizes that Adam is probably interested in him. Rachel thinks he should asks him out.
Puck tells Kitty to stay away from Jake. She tells him she doesn't actually like Jake, she just likes to get what she wants. Since she can't go alone, Kitty asks Puck to the dance. Puck agrees.
Blaine and Tina arrive at the dance, which has a snowflake theme. The Glee guys dedicate a performance of "Scrubs" to all the strong women who made the night possible.
Jake and Marley seem to be having a great time. She wants him to be exclusive with her and take things slow. Jake looks pensive.
Beiste approaches a group of single ladies who feel like losers. She tells them to hit the dance floor and start asking guys to dance. It works out for them, and at the same time we see Kurt asks Adam out. Adam says yes. Tina looks like she's developing feelings for Blaine.
The girls take the stage and perform "Locked Out of Heaven."
On the dance floor Kitty and Puck seem to be getting along pretty well. She likes his screenplay and thinks he might have a future in the field. She invites him to go to her car.
Blaine and Sam go to Finn with the theory the Warblers are using HGH. If they turn out to be correct, it would retroactively disqualify the Warblers. Finn thinks they need more evidence to make such a claim, at which point they bring out Trenton, the member of the Warblers who wasn't at sectionals. He tells them Hunter has been forcing members of the Warblers to inject testosterone. They ask him to testify against the Warblers.
Brody is 45 minutes late for dinner with Rachel because his train was late. She's furious, but he manages to talk her down from the ledge.
Jake tells Marley she's the most amazing person he's ever met and he wants to be with only her. Blaine finds Tina at the punch and asks her to dance.
Rachel asks Brody to move in with her.
It turns out the Sadie Hawkins was a rousing success for the Too Young To Be Bitter club and they happily disband the organization.

Finn reminds the team they've lost three weeks of prep and still need to raise money for their bus. Tina suggests they have the six guys in the club pose for a calendar. Finn likes it and puts her in charge.
Marley appears on Brittany's web show Fondue For Two. Brittany asks her if she's in love with Jake and thinks she should tell him how she feels.
Brittany has received a near perfect score on her college entrance exam, seemingly by accident. By contrast Sam received just about the worst score possible.
Rachel agrees to appear in a fellow student's senior thesis. She is asked to appear topless and is uncertain as to what she should do. This naturally leads to her singing "Torn." Eventually she says she'll do it.
Sam shows up to school shirtless, wearing a pair of swimsuits. Blaine asks if perhaps he's trying to compensate for his SAT scores.
Sam takes the other guys through "broga" and a few grooming lessons in order to get them ready for their photo shoots. Artie is nervouse about posing shirtless. He then leads them in a mash up of "It's Getting Hot in Here" and "Angel Is A Centerfold."
Sue tells Finn she's going after him for being a "smut peddler." He says that if she does mess with him he'll hunt down an old picture of her in Penthouse and sells those pictures to raise money. Sue is confident he'll never find it.
Brody is fully supportive of Rachel's decision to pose topless. Kurt isn't so sure.
Marley asks Jake to meet her in the auditorium. She has been looking at possible Regionals songs, and wants them to sing "A Thousand Years." The perform it together and then afterwards kiss. She almost tells him she loves him, but stops and says she doesn't think the song is right for Regionals.
Finn tells Artie what's happening with Sue and their calendar and asks him to hunt down Sue's Penthouse centerfold. Artie says he doesn't want to pose for the calendar. Finn says he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do.
Tina and Kitty tell Jake and Ryder their ideas for their shoots. Jake tells him he's starting to get serious about Marley. Jake thought she was going to tell him she loved him and was planning to say it back to her. Ryder thinks he should say it first. Jake sings "Let Me Love You" to the rest of the club. Marley is moved.
Santana and Quinn arrive at NYADA, having been asked by Kurt to perform an emergency intervention. They tell her not to do the topless scene. They warn her she'll feel guilty about it down the road and that her children will eventually see it.
The photo shoot begins. The guys are getting tired of Sam's primadonna act and Blaine takes him aside. Sam doesn't think he's special without his body. Blaine assures him that everybody will still love him even if he puts on a few pounds.
Finn tells Sue he's found her Penthouse issue. She says she isn't ashamed of what she did. It turns out Finn didn't find the magazine, but taped Sue confessing to posing. "Check mate," Finn says.
Blaine brings Sam to see Emma. She shows him a number of college options that don't depend on admission scores.
During filming Rachel balks when it comes time to drop her robe. She asks for the rest of the crew to take of their shirts. They do, but Rachel tells the director she isn't ready. This transitions to Rachel singing "Love Song" with Quinn and Santana.
Sam is struggling writing his college essay. Blaine shows him video of all his friends talking about what Sam has meant to them. An emotional Sam hugs Blaine in thanks.
In part to make Artie feel more comfortable, the calendar ends up featuring a number of photos with the guys fully clothed. The club raises $350.
Jake and Marley tell each other they love one another.
We end with a performance of "This Is The New Year."

Open with Kurt talking about Rachel's incredibly massive ego. He's convinced she needs to be knocked down a peg and he's just the person to take care of it.
Emma tells Finn she's getting worried about her upcoming wedding. He asks about Will's return and when he might be taking back over Glee club. Emma tells him not to worry and says she thinks he's been doing a great job. He's concerned about regionals and asks her to judge a competition among the singers to boost competition.
This will be Diva Week and Emma points out that diva does not indicate a gender. Unique is very confident he'll win. This leads to a performance of "I'm A Diva."
Kurt opens up to Rachel about how she's been acting. She thinks he's jealous and the two argue over who showcase performance was better. He challenges her to an Adele sing-off at Midnight Madness.
Tina brings Blaine a care package when he starts getting sick. He says his goal is to prove boys can be divas too, which transitions into his performance of "Don't Stop Me Now."
Santana performs "Nutbush City Limits" as a guest diva. Afterwards Santana tells Brittany she heard that she is dating Sam and introduces her new girlfriend Elaine.
Brody briefs Rachel on Midnight Madness. It's NYADA's version of a fight club. Two people go head-to-head with the winner getting bragging rights.
Finn's heard that Rachel is dating Brody and talks to Emma about his feelings. She asks for his input on centerpieces.
Santana tells Sam that what Brittany is doing with him is nothing more than revenge. She says eventually Brittany will dump him and they talk about fighting for her affections. The two sing "Make No Mistake, She's Mine." Brittany watches from around the corner.
Tina debates with herself about whether she should continue to go after Blaine. She tells Blaine she's not sure if people think of her like as a possible diva and he invites over to work on finding her inner diva.
Blaine shows Tina a playlist of diva songs he made for her. His cough medicine makes him drowsy and he starts to fall asleep on his bed. Tina tells Blaine she's falling in love with him, but it turns out he doesn't hear any of it. She rubs Vicks on his chest and cries.
It's Midnight Madness time. Kurt and Rachel will be singing "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables. Kurt ends up winning by the closest margin in Midnight Madness history.
Sue suggest to Santana the possibility of her taking over the Cheerios when she dies.
Tina goes off on Blaine, telling her in a very diva-like way that she feels like he's being ungrateful. Tina sings "Hung Up." Everybody loves it.
Rachel seems devastated after her loss and Kurt doesn't like it.
Tina wins the diva award. Afterward in the hall Blaine gives her flowers and apologizes for being ungrateful for what she's done for him. He asks her to be his date to Will's wedding.
Rachel says she no longer wants to try out for Funny Girl. Kurt talks her down from the ledge and they make-up.
Emma is panicking over some wedding issues and tells Finn she can't get married. She appears to be in a full OCD panic. Finn tries to calm her down and ends up kissing her briefly on the lips.
Brittany tells Santana she's not going to break up with Sam. Brittany has found out that Santana doesn't actually have a girlfriend and has dropped out of schools. She is struggling in the real world. Brittany leaves and Santana sings "Girl On Fire."
The episode ends with Santana knocking on Rachel and Kurt's door and telling them "I'm moving in."

The episode opens with Finn telling Rachel what happened between him and Emma. He's freaking out that he may ruin their wedding. Rachel doesn't think what happened will impact their big day and advises against telling Will.
Finn pays Emma a visit. He wants to talk about what happened but she tells him she doesn't have the time. She reminds him that he will be the best man and therefore standing behind Will at the altar. Will walks in and gives her a kiss.
Will returns to Glee club, telling them he's back "to stay." He thanks Finn and tells him this week's assignment is "Wedding!!!" He's in charge of entertainment at the reception and asks Finn to sing instead of making a best man speech. Will asks the kids to look at romantic love songs.
Emma wants to set Artie up with her niece Betty.
Marley gives Jake an early Valentine's Day gift. She leaves and Ryder walks up. Jake has to admit he hasn't yet bought her anything. Ryder suggests he make it a full week of valentine gifts.
Jake makes a surprise appearance in Marley's history class. Ryder, Sam and Artie help him sing a mashup of two versions of " You're All I Need to Get By " to Marley, who ends up joining in herself.
It's time for the wedding. Before the ceremony begins, Santana and Quinn complain about weddings and men. Artie approaches Betty who is also in a wheelchair. She doesn't seem into the set-up, to say the least. On the advice of Ryder (again) Jake gives Marley flowers. She loves them.
Kurt and Blaine are making out in the car outside the wedding. They talk about what it does or doesn't mean until Mercedes interrupts them and demands that they escort her in.
Sue is wearing an exact replica of Emma's wedding dress to the ceremony. Moments before the ceremony, Emma is panicking. As Will happily sings to the patrons in the church Emma blurts out to herself that she doesn't think she can do it (" Getting Married Today "). Emma runs outside, gets in a taxi and bursts into tears.
The music comes on and Sue walks down the aisle. She gets to Will and tells him "Emma's left the building."
Will and Finn talk in an empty church and discuss why Emma might have left. Will blames himself for leaving her alone. Santana shows up and says Emma's parents still want to have the reception since they paid for it. Will likes the idea and leaves to find Emma.
Using their fake IDs, Santana and Quinn have drinks at the reception and seem to be getting along well.
Jake tells Ryder he thinks he'll be having sex with Marley that night. Ryder doesn't think she's ready. Ryder clearly is having trouble seeing Marley with somebody else.
While Blaine and Kurt sing " Just Can't Get Enough ", Rachel assures her that Emma didn't walk out because of him. There had to be more.
Betty is still being nasty to Artie, who for some reason finds her compelling. He asks her to dance.
Tina tells Kurt she doesn't like the way he's treating Blaine. He responds by saying her feelings for Blaine are creepy.
Sue takes the reception stage and makes reference to St. Valentine. She tosses the bouquet Emma left behind and it is caught by Rachel.
Rachel tells Finn she and Brody are calling themselves single even though they live with each other. He thinks she can't commit to Brody because she still loves someone else. He thinks they're eventually going to get back together.
Finn and Rachel sing " We've Got Tonite." Quinn and Santana slow-dance to the song. We see Finn and Rachel going into to a hotel room together. Kurt and Blaine do the same, as do Jake and Marley, Artie and Betty, and... Quinn and Santana. Rachel and Finn get undressed and hop into bed together.
After hooking up, Blaine asks Kurt if this means they're back together. Kurt isn't willing to go that far. Quinn and Santana also sleep together, with Quinn seeming to enjoy herself. Artie and Betty also had fun together.
Marley doesn't go through with it and Jake seems fine with that decision.
Rachel sneaks out of their room with Finn still asleep.
Rachel returns to New York to find Brody has spent days decorating their apartment for Valentine's Day. He asks her if she kissed anybody while she was gone. She doesn't say much of anything. He tells her he stayed at home while she was gone, but we see a clip of him leaving a hotel room with a bunch of cash. She passes on sex, saying it is because of the plane. Rachel seems to be feeling guilty.
Tina apologizes to Kurt and Blaine for how she acted. Kurt assures her that he and Blaine are just friends.
Marley thanks Ryder for all the gifts he suggested to Jake. He leans in and kisses her, then quickly apologizes. She rushes off awkwardly.
Finn implores Will not to give up on Emma. He pledges to help him win nationals and get his wife. They shake on it and Will thanks him.
Betty apologizes to Artie for how she acted at the wedding. He asks her out on a date.
The Glee kids sing " Anything Could Happen ".
The episode ends with Rachel taking a pregnancy test and looking concerned.

Artie and Finn bring Emma's parents into the school under false pretenses. They say Artie needs help with his college essay and they ask for Emma's address.

Description ▼
Open with Tina, Blaine, and Artie addressing the recent animosity between Will and Finn. And the two Glee leaders are given an assignment, the two must perform a song together using the theme of feuds.
At a doctor's office, Rachel tells Santana that her pregnancy was a false alarm. Santana says that it should be a wake-up call for her and her relationship with Brody.
We see Brody in the lobby of a posh hotel. He walks over to a middle-aged woman and begins to sing "How to Be a Heartbreaker." Rachel joins the song from her apartment as we see Brody head upstairs with the woman. It appears Brody has been working as an escort.
Sue confronts Blaine for having been a Cheerio and not attending practice; Blaine replies that he and Tina only joined for that one day because they thought Glee club was over, and she pulls out a contract with a forgery to intimidate Blaine into helping her with Cheerios Regionals. He says no and she threatens him.
Ryder is a week into an online friendship with a girl named Katie and it appears to be going great. We flashback to Unique being angry with Ryder for messing up Marley and Jake's relationship. Katie thinks Ryder should challenge Unique to a sing-off.
Will tells Finn the reason he gave him the Glee club was because he took pity on him. Will is upset that Finn betrayed his trust and broke the code of a brother. Will is adamant they are doing the assignment and he plans to "kick your ass."
Brody has told Rachel he got a job as a cater waiter and lied about it, but Santana isn't buying it. She sneaks into Brody's bathroom while he's in the shower and snags his pager.
Sue has ruined Blaine's parents' credit, cemented his hair, and hired a plane with a rumor about him to fly over the school. Blaine says they are now officially feuding and they plan to sing-off: Blaine singing Mariah Carey and Sue with Nicki Minaj.
Marley and Jake talk about her kiss with Ryder. She gets him to admit that he's still flirting with other girls and they appear to move past it as she promises she loves only him. Jake wants them to "ice out" Ryder but she says she has to forgive him.
Ryder and Unique's feud-off is a mashup of Elton John's "The Bitch Is Back" and Madonna's "Dress You Up." Afterwards we learn Artie suggested the Madonna/Elton John combo. Unique refuses to shake Ryder's hand until he admits she is a girl. However, Ryder can't bring himself to do it and Jake calls him a "douchebag" for the fact Glee club is a place where everyone can be who they really are.
Sue asks Becky for help becoming Nicki Minaj in preparation for her battle with Blaine.
Santana drops by a dance class and confronts Brody about his "sketchiness." She says if he doesn't move out she's going to destroy him. This leads into her performing Paula Abdul's "Cold Hearted".
Will and Finn perform a N'Sync/Backstreet Boys mashup featuring "Bye Bye Bye" and "I Want It That Way." By the end of the song, Finn offers to "hug it out," but Will says he just can't. Finn thanks him "for everything" and walks out.
Santana returns home having just gotten a new job as a barkeep. Rachel and Kurt are upset she went to their school and performed a song and ask her to move out. They tell her to lay-off Brody or move out. She leaves, but assures them on the way that "I'm right about plastic man."
Ryder tells Katie about not being able to call Unique a woman. She's able to talk him down by explaining what truth really is.
Blaine and Sue's mashup is Mariah's "I Still Believe" and Minaj's "Super Bass." Afterwards, Blaine complains about all of the props Sue used to help her performance. Sue wins the battle handily, meaning Blaine is headed back to the Cheerios.
Marley stops by Finn's office to find him packing up. He says he's not sure what's next for him and she responds that he needs to "grow a pair." Finn thinks Will defines him and without Glee he is lost. She tells him to go get his teaching degree.
Ryder asks Marley, Jake, and Unique for a truce. He gets on better footing with all three of them. Unique tells him a story of being chased home by some of the "popular girls." They all say they have Unique's back. Kitty walks in and, although saying she wouldn't admit it on the outside, she's friends with all of them and that they have to keep the legacy of Glee club going after the seniors graduate.
Sue tells Blaine she's making him a co-captain with Becky. She tells him in the real world you are only as good as your word and makes him promise he's fully committed.
In the hallway, we see that Blaine returning to the Cheerios is all part of a plan he has with Sam to bring down Sue "from the inside."
Santana tricks Brody into coming to a hotel room believing he's seeing a potential client. Finn is hiding in the bathroom. Santana leaves and Finn tells him to leave Rachel alone without any good-byes. Brody says he loves Rachel and this leads to a huge fight. Finn gets the better of him and tells him to "stay away from my future wife."
The Glee kids singing "Closer."
Afterwards, Katie is telling Ryder she thinks it's great they all have each other's backs. Ryder tells her that he thinks he's moved on from Marley and asks if they can meet. Ryder thinks he hears someone typing in the back of the library and Katie goes offline.

Blaine admits that his guilty pleasure is the band Wham!. Tina pops in and tells the guys Glee club is cancelled this week because Mr. Schue is out sick, but the guys say "not necessarily."
Despite not having an advisor available, Sam and Blame assign the Glee club guilty pleasures. Blaine and Sam start with "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go."
Brittany talks to Kitty about improving her negative image. She invites her to appear on Fondue For Two. During the interview, Kitty tells Brittany her guilty pleasure is too horrible to admit and whispers it in her ear.
We learn Kurt's most secret guilty pressure is his "boyfriend arm," a pillow/fake arm that makes it seem as if you're sleeping with an arm around your shoulder.
In the locker room, Sam and Blaine talk and Sam refuses to reveal his true guilty pleasure, but Blaine keeps pressing until Sam blurts out that his secret is he likes Barry Manilow.
Some of the Glee kids who watched the online interview demand to know Kitty's guilty pleasure. Kitty won't budge, but Brittany says that it's the Spice Girls, and Unique, Tina, and Marley are ecstatic about performing one of their songs.
Santana is still bickering with Rachel and Kurt. Kurt wants Santana to wait on telling Rachel about Brody until after her big audition. Santana suggests to Rachel that they prank Kurt to get her mind off Brody. The girls walk in to put Kurt's hand in water and see his "boyfriend arm."
Sam admits his love for Manilow to the club. He then sings "Copacabana." Several other members of Glee respond that they are also Manilow fans.
The girls talk about which Spice Girls they want to be. Marley interrupts with word that Jake plans to sing a Chris Brown song.
Sam is upset that Blaine hasn't been completely honest.
Jake tries to explain singing Chris Brown to the girls. His reason is that he feels guilty about liking his songs and argues you should be able to separate the art from the artist.
Kurt gives Santana and Rachel their own special pillows. Santana tells Rachel that Brody was a gigolo and Kurt confirms it.
Blaine sings a powerful rendition of "Against All Odds." Tina asks him who it was about and Blaine says he was thinking about Kurt. He adds no longer in the closet about his love for Phil Collins, but Sam notices Blaine looking at him while he sang.
The girls sing "Wannabe." Artie seems to be noticing Kitty a little bit and notes afterwards that she actually looks like she enjoys being part of the group. Jake takes the stage and sings "My Prerogative."
Jake apologizes afterwards about singing Bobby Brown, since he allegedly got Whitney Houston addicted to drugs.
Rachel confronts Brody about selling his body. He comes back that he knows she slept with Finn at the wedding and says he meant everything he said about her. They break up, followed by singing a duet of "Creep."
Sam finds Blaine working on a Phil Collins song in the auditorium. Sam says he knows Blaine's guilty pleasure is him. They hug it out.
Rachel comes home and finds Santana and Kurt bonding over The Facts of Life. She tells them she and Brody came to an understanding and the relationship is over. She thanks Santana and says she's ready to see older guys. She wants them to watch the biggest guilty pleasure movie: Mamma Mia. Rachel begins to sing the title song and is joined by Santana and Kurt; the scene is intercut with Marley, Kitty, Blaine, and Sam leading in the New Directions performance.

Open with Will revealing their competition for regionals. Brittany interrupts with a rambling warning about a comet/asteroid (or something) that is headed for Earth. She concerned with making amends with her cat during his last hours.
Based on Brittany's warning Will's theme for the week is "Last Chance."
Ryder tells Jake about his online relationship. That morning Ryder saw a pretty blonde in the hallway and he's convinced it's Katie. Jake advises him to have a plan.
Sam suggests Brittany brings her cat to school so the club can sing to it.
Ryder finds the girl at her locker. He introduces himself and brings her to the Glee room. He takes her hands and sings "Your Song" directly to her. Afterwards she tells him that she isn't Katie, the person he's been communicating with over text/IM/Facebook for the past few weeks, although somebody was using her picture. He's been catfished.
An emotional Ryder blames Marley and Jake for catfishing him. They deny it but he's still furious.
Sam and Brittany lead a rendition of "More Than Words" directed at Brittany's cat.
Beiste prepares a special meal for her and Will. She says he was the first man to ever make her feel like a girl, then asks him to be "the man in my life." He tells her that he's now back with Emma. Beiste gets emotional and walks off.
Katie texts Ryder. She admits to lying about her name and pic, but says she honestly just wanted to get close to him. Katie is shy and didn't think he'd care about her in person. She wants to meet the following day at 3:30 in front of the choir room.
Brittany tells the astronomy club that there is no asteroid on the way to Earth. It was a dead ladybug at the end of the Pringles can she'd been using as a telescope. She proceeds to disband the astronomy club. Brittany talks to Becky about moving on from high school.
Beiste is invited to the next Glee practice. They hear what sounds like gun shots and everybody hides. The group is terrified and Will tells them he loves them. They hear somebody try their door and keep running.
We see a terrified Brittany hiding in the bathroom.
Marley can't reach her mother, who we see is also hiding. Sam starts to panic about Brittany not being there and has to be held back by Will and Beiste. Artie pulls out his phone and starts filming video of everybody's thoughts during the moment.
Will finds Brittany and several other students hiding in the bathroom and brings them back to the choir room.
Ryder decides to call Katie's number and it rings in the choir room. But he's not sure which person the phone belongs to. Eventually the SWAT team clears the school.
The following day we see police searching lockers and installing metal detectors.
Sue tells Will and Beiste she thinks everybody is overacting, since there is no proof it was a gun. Will tells her that the plan is to interview every single student. When the culprit is found they will be expelled. At this point Sue tells them it was her gun.
Sue tells Figgins she's been keeping a legally registered gun in her office for safety. When she was performing her daily safety check the gun accidentally went off. She then dropped it, which was the reason for the second shot. Figgins says there is nothing he can do for her, the district has mandatory punishments and she'll be dismissed. Sue laments that despite a long career as an educator and coach this incident will be how she's remembered.
Tina talks to Blaine about wishing she'd been there with them in choir room. She is emotional and he comforts her.
Ryder accuses Kitty of catfishing him. Jake isn't so sure. Ryder has eliminated everybody else in Glee for various reasons. He is still scheduled to meet "Katie" at 3:30.
Will has signed Beiste up for an online dating service. She's matched up with Coach Tanaka, the man she replaced as head coach.
Sam gets Brittany a new cat.
Will finds Sue packing up her things in her office. He doesn't think bringing a gun to school makes sense. Sue flashes back to Becky coming to her and saying how scared she is about leaving school. She's brought her father's gun. It accidentally goes off and then she drops it out of fear. She cries and Sue tells Becky she'll take care of everything. Sue doesn't tell this to Will, but asks him to make sure he looks out for Becky.
Ryder waits for Katie but she doesn't show up. He texts "Where are u?" but gets no answer. The episodes ends with everybody singing "Say."

Open with Finn talking about his experience at the University of Lima, where he is studying to be a teacher. He seems to be enjoying the party scene and Puck shows up to be his new non-student roommate.
Rachel is preparing for her Funny Girl audition. Playing the role has been her dream for virtually her entire life, ever since she first saw the movie at age 5.
A particularly braggadocios Roz (NeNe Leakes) has taken over the Cheerios. Beiste recommends that Will make the effort to talk to Finn.
Marley wants to bring her original songs to the masses. Sam is pretending to be Evan, a fake genius twin brother. Unique is thinking about taking birth control pills, even though he's really not a girl.
Will tells the kids this year's regional theme is Dreams. His plan is to take the theme literally and mentions three specific songs with Dream in the title. Marley wants them to discuss the set list but Will isn't interested.
Blaine conducts a secret Glee club meeting. He's convinced the set list will lose them regionals. They think Will has lost touch and they should perform more recent songs. Marley brings up her songs and is quickly shot down, especially by Kitty, who does not want to sing about "loving your fat mother."
Will shows up at Finn's dorm in the middle of yet another party. Will apologizes and asks him to come back to Glee. Will turns him down.
Blaine tells Will about the alternative songs they've looked at. Will snaps at them and demands they rehearse his songs.
Shelby (Idina Menzel), Rachel's birth mother and Beth's adopted mother, shows up at NYADA to see Rachel before the audition. She thinks that Rachel should try and avoid Barbara songs at the audition, as the producers will likely be looking for a fresh interpretation of the role. Shelby and Rachel sing "Next To Me."
Finn and Puck hang out at a huge fraternity party, singing "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)" Afterwards the president asks them to be members, without any hazing. They agree.
Marley shows Blaine, Sam and Unique one of her songs. They sing it with her. Will walks by and hears them. The kids love her song and ask if she has more. Blaine thinks they should tell Will about her songs, but Marley reminds him that he wasn't interested.
Rachel calls Finn and asks him about college. She asks him about the audition and wants to know what song he thinks she should sing. He suggests she go with something that takes her back to her roots, something that will make the producers fall in love with her.
Rachel takes the stage for her audition. She sings Journey's "Don't Stop Believin', remembering singing it with her friends back in high school." Afterwards one of the producers asks her about what she was thinking during the song. She says she had her friends on her mind.
Puck is demanding Finn take his classes seriously. Puck wants to work on his screenplay and make sure Finn becomes a great teacher.
Roz meets with Blaine and Becky, her Cheerios co-captains. She thinks Blaine put a hex on Sue and has them take a loyalty pledge that they won't do the same thing to her. Afterwards Blaine asks Becky about what happened with Sue, having noticed she was acting strange. Becky yells that she doesn't know anything and storms away.
Finn tells Will he's willing to come back, so long as he's treated as an equal. The Dean has told Finn he can get college credit for working with the Glee Club. They hug and Will says he wants them to move past.
A happier Will apologizes to the Glee club for making them feel as if they don't have a voice. He introduces Finn to them as his partner. Will wants Marley to teach them one of her original songs.
Kurt bakes cookies while Rachel waits by her phone. Her phone rings with word that she's gotten a call-back.
The episode ends with the kids performing one of Marley's songs.

Open with Ryder still unable to track down his online mystery crush Katie.
Will tells the Glee kids he's done some scouting for regionals and is worried about the talents of a sophomore competitor named Frida Romero. The lights in the school cut off so Will decides this week will be an unplugged theme.
Ryder talks to Jake about Katie. He's nervous because he's told the person his biggest secrets.
Rachel and Kurt tell Santana they're worried about her being a cage dancer. They think she should explore her singing and dancing talent. She thinks she's doing just fine.
Sam is the first unplugged volunteer. He sings "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin.'"
Kurt meets with Isabelle, concerned that she's going to fire him because he's been so busy with NYADA. Instead she wants his help with the gala for NYC Ballet's educational programs. Isabelle needs a celebrity wrangler and says it's fine if he has friends help him.
Sue is now working as a personal trainer, making more money than she did as a teacher. Blaine is in her boot camp class. Afterwards he tells Sue the Cheerios are lost with Roz in charge and wants to know what really happened with her at the school.
Kurt tells Rachel and Santana about the gala. Both Rachel and Kurt credit ballet with the start of their interest in theater.
Ryder dedicates his song to all the adversity Glee kids have faced. He sings "Everybody Hurts." Afterwards he says the song was an attempt to help him gain the courage to say that when he was 11 he was molested by a female babysitter. The guys seems to think it was cool, which bothers Ryder.
Kitty invites Ryder to dinner. She tells him she understands what he went through, as she was also molested at a young age. The result was that she had to switch schools.
The Glee kids sing "We Will Rock You."
Sue swings by the school and runs into Becky. She wants Sue to come back to the school. Sue says she's moved on and can't go back. This lead to Sue singing "Little Girls" and telling Becky she doesn't miss teaching at all.
Santana admits to Isabelle that she did take ballet classes when she was young. Santana sings "At the Ballet" with some help from Isabelle and Rachel.
Roz complains to Figgins about Becky's behavior. Becky tells him she misbehaved because she wanted the opportunity to tell him something.
The power at McKinley comes back on.
Will thinks the power outage will help them open up the power of their voices.
Ryder talks to Katie online. He says he revealed his secret in an attempt to figure out who she is. She asks him why he's still talking to her, given he knows that Kate lied about hwo she really is. He responds that she's opened him up somehow. They both think what's happening is opening each other up. Kitty walks by and asks him to go to lunch. He passes because he's waiting to continue his online conversation with Katie. Kitty is pissed.
Santana is taking a NYADA extension course in dance. She tells the instructor she's there to "reintroduce" herself to what she loves.
The Glee kids perform an a cappella version of "For the Longest Time."

Artie tells Kitty he's depressed because he's been accepted by the Brooklyn Film Academy but he is not going without explains the reason.
Kurt is days away from the appointment where Burt will find out if his cancer treatment has worked. He returns to McKinley and reunites with his old friends. This leads to Kitty leading a performance of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." Mercedes, who is back home filming a video for her new album, has been brought in as a vocal coach.
Kitty tells Artie she thinks he's be amazing in film school.
Kurt has coffee with Blaine, Mike and Mercedes. Mercedes is working on ideas for her video. The topic of Blaine and Kurt's relationship comes up.
Several of the NYADA students tell Rachel they're aware of her callback via Broadway chatrooms. They thinks she better keep the information away from Cassie, as students are supposed to have a teacher sign off on such activities. The two run to Cassie and tell her the news.
Mercedes tells the kids she thinks the reason they lost at regionals was fear. For example she thinks Marley needs to work on her runs. Mercedes leads them in "Superstition."
Mercedes and Mike want Jake to be their featured dancer. She also want him in her video.
The doctor tells Burt the tumor is gone. He's in remission. The family embraces in joy.
Kurt has Burt join him in the choir room. He dedicates a performance of "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" to his father.
Cassie confronts Rachel about her interview. Cassie plans on attending, with the goal of watching her choke. She's also moved up her difficult dance midterm to the following morning.
Mike performs a dancing/singing duo with Jake to "I Wish."
Mercedes tells Mike and Kurt a disagreement over how much skin she doesn't want to show in the art for her CD cover has caused a delay. She worried her look will never make people in the industry happy.
Artie returns home to find Kitty talking to his mother about his acceptance. He hadn't told his mother yet. After Kitty leaves he tells his mother he's afraid to go to New York. He doesn't want to leave her alone, but she insists that he follow his dream.
Cassie surprises Rachel by bringing other students together to support her through the midterm and get her ready for the audition. They perform "Uptight (Everything's Alright)."
Mercedes tells the Glee kids to be ready for how tough the industry can be. She emphasizes the importance of doing things you own way. She's planning to sell her albums herself. This leads to "Higher Ground."
Blaine gives Burt a rainbow pin to wear at work to show his support for same-sex marriage. He then asks for his permission to ask Kurt to marry him. Burt thinks he and Kurt are too young. He thinks at this point Blaine is more interested in marrying an idea than a person.
Rachel gives Cassie a gift as a way to thank her for everything she's done for her throughout the year. Cassie says she's hard on Rachel because she thinks she's special. Cassie tells Rachel she thinks she'll get the part.
Blaine pauses before asking Kurt if he'll stick around for regionals.
The episode ends with Artie leading them in "For Once In My Life."

Brittany's interview at MIT results in two contrasting revelations: while the staff determines that from her test scores Brittany appears to have little to no academic ability, the numbers she's doodled on the back of her notepad to get them out of her head appear to be of great scientific significance when viewed in various sequences. Believing that she might be a singular, Einstein-level intellect in some respect, MIT plans a unique proposition for her.
Will reveals that the Regionals competition will now be held in the McKinley High auditorium, and reminds New Directions that they need to bring everything they've got to the stage; "All or Nothing." Ryder is preoccupied wondering about the still-mysterious identity of his "catfish," Katie. Meanwhile, performing Celine Dion's "To Love You More", Rachel does her callback for the role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl. She pours everything into her performance, ending with tears running down her cheeks, but the reaction of the casting team is unreadable.
Sam urges Blaine to reconsider his plan to ask Kurt to marry him, but Blaine is determined: not only is he going to go through with it, he wants Sam to be his best man. As Joe and Sugar return to the glee club, Will runs down the set list, but Brittany insists on changing everything to showcase her, unleashing a ridiculous set of demands based on her new confidence in her "megawatt star power." When her friends are stunned by her behavior - including Sam, whom she dumps via text message - she says she's just embracing Will's "All or Nothing" mentality.
Brittany dramatically quits the Cheerios, burning her uniform in front of Coach Roz and posting a manifesto filled with reasons why she can't be on the squad anymore. Ryder demands that "Katie" reveals herself or he won't participate in Regionals. Finally, Marley admits that it was her, despite her previous insistence that she wasn't responsible, and Ryder's shock is compounded when Jake defends her.
Tina helps Blaine shop for a wedding ring, and he's aided by Jan (Patty Duke), a compassionate jewelry store employee who's proud that the LGBT community is on the brink of marriage equality. Sam shows up to support Blaine, and Jan offers to help Blaine navigate his plan so he can "see what's possible when two people really love each other."
When Sue and Will confront Brittany about her demanding behavior, she insists she'll only discuss things on her own terms - on her Internet chat show "Fondue for Two." Among Brittany's revelations, she's determined that singer Michael Bolton is the father of Sue's daughter, Robin. Meanwhile, a concerned Sam asks for help from Santana, the only person he thinks can get through to Brittany and learn what's really happening.
Blaine and Kurt have dinner at BreadstiX with Jan and her partner Liz (Meredith Baxter), who recount how different it was for them growing up as lesbians during their formative years - but somehow they made it work. Blaine's taken aback when Kurt casually points out that he and Blaine aren't a couple, but the evening takes a happier turn when Jan asks Liz to marry her.
Marley tries to apologize to Ryder and bring him back to the glee club. He demands an explanation as to why she's strung him along all this time, but the answer is even more shocking: Unique reveals herself as the real Katie. After she was drawn in too deep in her anonymous online flirtation with Ryder, Unique revealed her secret to Marley. She says never felt so close to someone without her exterior getting in the way. She apologizes, hoping they won't lose what they have, but Ryder tells her they don't have anything and that he'll never speak to her again. Meanwhile, back on "Fondue for Two," Santana confronts Brittany about her behaviour and Brittany says that she has to tell her something really important.
As Regionals kick off, The Waffletoots start the competition by singing Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher's "Rainbow Connection". Back in the choir room, Ryder has decided to perform with the New Directions, seeing as he is only angry with Unique and doesn't want to punish the rest of the glee club, but tells them that he'll be leaving the New Directions after Regionals. The Hoosierdaddies and their lead singer Frida Romero ( American Idol season 11 finalist Jessica Sanchez) power through their dynamic set of Zedd's "Clarity" and Little Mix's "Wings", but Sam is pleasantly distracted by the surprise arrival of Brittany.
During their show circle, Brittany reveals that MIT offered her early admission and wants her to leave immediately, causing her to have a meltdown. Having been told she was stupid her entire life, she feels that when glee club helped her believe she might be smart after all, the whole world started to believe it, too. Paying a tearful tribute to her friends, especially Sam and Santana, she says that they're like family to her and that she's really gonna miss all of them, before heading into her final performance.
New Directions launch their performance with "Hall of Fame" by The Script and will.i.am, followed by Icona Pop's "I Love It", and culminating with Marley's original song "All or Nothing". The judges' scores come in, and once again New Directions takes first place at Regionals, while the Hoosierdaddies make second place.
Back in the choir room, Emma makes an unexpected appearance with a priest in tow; she and Will are throwing a surprise wedding. The New Directions, Mercedes, Kurt, Santana and Mike hum the wedding march as Emma walks down the aisle and ties the knot with Will amid cheers. The camera zooms out on Blaine, who clutches his own ring box and plans to pop the question to Kurt.

Open with Rachel having a very brief Funny Girl audition. Afterwards the director and lead actor discuss being concerned Rachel is too green for such a big role. She sadly sings Yesterday while leaving the theater and walking around the city.
Will announces this will be the first of a two-week Beatles assignment. They will start with the early years. He wants them to perform the classic songs in creative new ways.
Artie and Kitty appear to have something of a flirtation going. They sing Drive My Car with some of the other Glee kids during a date at the carnival. At the carnival some of the other Cheerios asks if they're dating. Kitty says they're just friends. After they leave she asks if they have a relationship on the down-low because she needs her social status "to survive."
Santana gets Rachel a job waiting tables on Broadway at a diner where servers occasionally sing.
Blaine and Kurt talk about the possibility of getting back together. Blaine promises never to cheat on him again. Kurt seems up for it. They break into a performance of Got To Get You In My Life with band accompaniment.
Sue is back at McKinley as the new principal. She got there by filling Figgins' office with things like porno magazines and a copy of Mein Kampf. She's asked by the district to take over for a trial period of a few months. Figgins is now a custodian.
Artie and Kitty sing You've Got To Hide Your Love Away while we see they are publically pretending not to be an item while secretly passing notes and meeting in empty classrooms. Artie seems torn by the situation.
Blaine announces to New Directions that he and Kurt are back together and he is going to ask Kurt to marry him. He wants their help with the proposal. He also wants to include The Warblers, Vocal Adrenaline and the school for the deaf, since Blaine wants this to be a cultural statement. This leads to a performance of Help as New Directions goes from school to school. It seems to work.
Tina asks Artie if he and Kitty are an item. When he tells her what's going on she's thinks he needs to have more respect for himself. He tells her to butt out.
The Funny Girl decision-makers have a meal at her restaurant. She waits on them and asks for an update. They aren't sure if she's a star "just yet." She decides to prove it to them by singing A Hard Day's Night.
Will and Roz wait for a meeting with Sue, both worried their clubs will be under attack. But Sue thinks that having successful teams will help her take over principal permanently. Essentially she'll let Cheerios and New Directions stay if they win national championships.
At the next New Directions meeting Tina outs Artie and Kitty's arrangement. Kitty says she wanted to be sure she really liked Arie before risking both her heart and social standing. Kitty says she now wants them to be public. Everybody besides Tina seems happy.
Blaine meets with Sam, Jake and Ryder to discuss how nasty Tina has become. He thinks she's falling apart and they need to step in to help her.
Figgins promises Sue she's won't get away with what she's doing. She responds by dumping a bucket of rancid meant on the floor he was cleaning.
Blaine, Sam, Jake and Ryder sing When I Saw Her Standing There in full Beatles costume. Afterwards they offer their services as potential prom dates. She picks Sam because he's the "least gay and least Asian."
Burt brings Kurt to the surprise proposal his son is very much aware is coming. Kurt tells his father he's worried that the two of them are still so young. Burt talks about the origins of his relationship with Kurt's mother. He tells Kurt he gave Blaine his opinion on the subject, but won't tell Kurt what he said.
Kurt is greeted with Blaine signing All You Need Is Love with "He" Loves You, backed-up by New Directions and the other choirs. Rachel is also on hand to help. Kurt seems impressed. He proposes to Kurt on the spot where they first met. Blaine drops to his knee and asks Kurt to marry him. An emotional Kurt says yes and everybody cheers.

Open with Sam and Blaine talking about prom. Sam isn't thrilled with having to go with Tina, who is just a friend, but is honoring his promise. He thinks about unlucky he's been in love. This week will be the Beatles' experimental period. Blaine, Artie, Kitty and Tina are announced as candiates for king and queen. As soon as Tina hears the news she drops Sam as her date, saying the best way for her to maximize vote is to go by herself. Tina starts to sing "Revolution" and everybody leaves the room.
Having not heard anything for awhile Rachel tells Santana she's certain she didn't get the part in Funny Girl. Santana has landed a role in a commercial for an anti-fungal product, Yeast-I-Stat.
Bree makes it clear to Kitty that it's not okay for her to campaign for a non-Cheerios prom queen candidate. She needs to run aggressively so the Cheerios can have a winner.
Sam talks to Will about how there are no songs for what happened to him with Tina. Sue arrives and tells them she's instituting mandatory vaccinations, starting with polio. Sam is afraid of needles, but Sue isn't cutting him any slack. He can't go to prom unless he gets a shot.
Kurt tries to comfort Rachel, who he thinks she has lost her mojo. The two of them sing "Get Back."
Sam goes to Nurse Penny, who is a college sophomore working at the school to help eventually get into nursing school. She seems fairly incompetent and Sam leaves.
The halls are covered with Kitty For Queen posters. None of the New Directions kids believe Kitty when she says she had nothing to do with it.
Santana has a budding attraction with Dani, one of the other servers. Santana tells Rachel she's never been with an actual lesbian and is nervous.
Blaine and Artie notice that Sam has been intentionally hurting himself to visit Penny in the nurse's office. He's worried his personality isn't good enough to "get the girl," but the guys tell him to go for it. He sings "Something."
Penny tells Sam that Sue has fired her for mixing up a few vials. He lets her give him his shot in the buttocks.
Sam rushes to Sue's office and begs for Penny's job. Sue says Penny can stay
Bree offers Tina's personal assistant Dottie a spot on the Cheerios if she'll help them.
Santana and Dani hang out together as the diner closes for the night. They sing "Here Come The Sun" together and spend the evening together. Dani gives her a kiss good-bye before going home.
Prom opens with some of the guys performing "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." Penny knows that Sam is the reason she was un-fired by Sue. Sam asks her to dance. Bree has Dottie set up a bucket of slushie on the ceiling that will be dumped on Tina. Sue announced Tina has won queen. She is crowned and couldn't be happier. Bree nods to Dottie, who starts to pull the rope. Kitty sees what is happening but is too late to stop it. Tina is covered with red slushie and the crowd gasps, then laughs.
Back in the choir room Tina is crying and furious. She starts to head home but Blaine stops her. He thinks the should clean her up and she should return to "own that prom." Several of the girls offer her their dress. Blaine sings "Hey Jude" as they clean her up. She returns to the dance wearing Kitty's dress. She re-takes the stage and the crowd cheers.
Roz brings Bree to Sue, telling her she needs to be punished. Instead Sue promotes her to captain of the Cheerios and tells her to keep up the good work. Sue wants Bree to go after the Glee clug "with all you've got."
Kurt gets a job at the diner with Rachel and Santana. The director comes to the diner to tell Rachel she got the part of Fanny. This leads to a performance of "Let it Be" by several cast members.

The episode opens with virtually every member of the cast, dressed in black and singing "Season of Love" from Rent. towards the end of the song they turn together to look at the back of the theater and stare at a portrait of Finn.
The next scene opens three weeks after Finn's funeral. Kurt is preparing to return to Lima for a memorial organized by Will. Kurt is clearly struggling with the loss of his step-brother.
Sue is making jokes about Finn in front of Emma and Coach Beiste in the teacher's lounge. She says it's the only way she knows how to grieve. Emma talks about how the students need to deal with their feelings. Sue thinks the only way to honor him is to move on.
Will tells New Directions, and the alums who have returned, that this week they will memorialize Finn by singing about him. Any song, any day. Puck is having issues with the situation, pointing out that singing won't bring him back. But Mercedes steps to the front, saying she has to or she won't ever stop crying and sings "I'll Stand By You," which Finn had sung to (what he thought was) his baby's sonogram (before he discovered that Quinn was not carrying his child).
Sue sits with Kurt whom she addresses as "Porcelain". She says the tree he planted on the school grounds at Finn's memorial has been removed by a vandal and will have to be replaced. Kurt doesn't understand why someone would do that and forks over another $20 to Sue. We eventually see that it was Puck who stole the tree.
Next we see Kurt at the family home. He is there to help Burt and Carole clean out Finn's room. They talk about his history of acceptance and tolerance. Which belongings to keep. Kurt asks to keep Finn's varsity jacket. And Burt says he regrets not hugging Finn more often, especially the last time he saw him.
Later, at the school, the kids are painting a memorial of sorts on the old dumpster where the "Jocks" used to dump the Glee kids before the school became more tolerant. Kurt is thinking about how that changed because of Finn. Puck says he wants Finn's varsity jacket but Kurt won't give it to him. Puck clearly isn't handing his grief well.
Artie is sitting with the group and sings "Fire and Rain" with help from Sam. Santana leaves the room quickly after the song ends. Santana goes to Finn's old locker, which has become a shrine. The "new" Cheerios come to blow out the candles, on the orders of Sue and Santana is furious. Figgins is standing there, now just a janitor, and though he is sad, he says he can't stop them. Santana then marches into Sue's office and calls her a "cold, self-centered bitch". She goes on to tell Sue what a horrible person she is and says Finn hated her as well. Santana eventually pushes Sue into a piece of furniture.
Tina goes to see Emma, mostly concerned about how much black she's wearing after she worked so hard to end her goth-phase. Emma hands her brochures about being callous and "it's not all about me". Will comes in, he's her next scheduled appointment.
Emma points out to Will that he hasn't cried once, not even at the funeral. He responds that he's focused on making sure everybody around him is being taken care of. Emma tells him that eventually he's going to have to deal with his feelings, but assures him she'll be there when he is ready..
A drunken Puck wanders into the locker room and gets into an argument with Coach Beiste. Puck thinks if he starts dealing with his feelings "I'll never stop." She sits him down and he begins to cry. Puck thinks he won't be able to be a good person without Finn around to tell him how to do it. She tells him he'll have to find the direction on his own now and assures him he can. Puck suggests retiring Finn's number and framing his letterman's jacket to hang in the locker room. He wants to be sure Finn isn't ever forgotten. She wants him to put the tree back.
Santana, imagining that Finn is in heaven with Elvis, gets up an sings "If I Die Young" in front of the group. She breaks down near the end of the song and runs away, especially when the others attempt to comfort her.
Kurt finds Santana in the auditorium, sitting all alone on the stage. She is upset that she wasn't able to follow her plans. She wanted to return to Lima and say nice things about Finn, she had even written it all down. Kurt asks her to share it with him. She reads things from her list to him and begins to cry and asks him to leave. He stops just long enough to take off the varsity jacket, and drapes it over her sobbing shoulders.
Puck is in the rehearsal room and sings "No Surrender." Afterwards Santana comes in the room and accuses Puck of stealing Finn's jacket. Puck says it wasn't his, but nobody believes him. She is furious. Will asks everyone to calm down.
Santana returns to Sue's office, only this time she is there to apologize. Sue sits with her and opens up, saying she's "destroyed" by the fact that Finn died thinking she didn't like him. She always imagined he would be a wonderful teacher. She thought she would teach another 30 years with him at the school.
Rachel makes a surprise appearance. She tells the other students not to make a fuss. She tells them how much she loved Finn and that she knew the he loved the rest of them as well. She decides to sing the first song they ever sang together driving in his car, "Make You Feel My Love".
Santana hangs posters all over the school offering a $10,000 reward for the return of Finn's jacket. She tells Will she's returning to New York soon and may never return because that is her home now. Will comforts her.
Puck re-plants the tree and shares a root beer with Beiste. She asks him what he plans to do next. Puck says he's thinking about the Air Force. She tells him not to get shot and they hug. As he rides away she notices he carved "Quarterback" into the tree and she smiles.
Rachel and Will are in the rehearsal hall, talking about Finn. She's worried that some day she'll forget him. Her plan had been to live happily ever after with him. First she'd make it big on Broadway, maybe do a movie, then come home to Finn. She's not sure what is next for her in life. She tells Will she had something made and asks if she can display it there. They hang a portrait of Finn on the wall. It is engraved with his name, dates and a Finn Hudson quote: "The show must go on...all over the place...or something."
Will comes home and sits down on the couch. He looks exhausted. He opens up his briefcase and we see that he was the one who stole Finn's jacket. Emma comes in to find Will sobbing into the jacket. She sits next to him on the sofa and holds him.
The episode ends with a memorial screen: "Cory Monteith: 1982-2013"
*Note: The producers were originally quoted as saying this episode would deal directly with Finn's death, the cause of it and address substance abuse issues in some way. The cause of Finn's death is not mentioned. Public service information which was intended for display, to direct people in need of help, was not included either.

Open with Tina showing everybody hilarious video of Blaine twerking. Will says he wants them to get more edgy to give them a better chance to win at Nationals.
Jake and Kitty give the rest of New Directions a twerking tutorial. Sue watches this.
Rachel shows up at rehearsal with a new haircut. Rupert is furious, reminding her that he is in charge of every decision impacting what the audience sees. She and Paolo perform " You Are Woman, I Am Man ". Rupert says he loves it and wonders if perhaps the haircut was a "reverse Sampson."
Unique leaves class to use the restroom. She pops into the girls bathroom and runs into Bree, who isn't happy. Unique begs her not to tell anyone. But this leads to the "great bathroom riot" as students start using the opposite gender's bathroom.
Rachel shows Kurt that she was wearing a wig. She showed Rupert afterwards and he said he might let her keep the cut. She felt like taking a risk and Kurt wonders if it is related to Finn. Kurt wants to do something crazy and they decide to do some drinking and get tattoos.
Sue goes on TV to complain about twerking. She calls it vulgar and pledges to end it at McKinley and public schools throughout the state.
Will tells the kids they are going to draw a line in the sand and blow the debate up. This leads to a performance of " Blurred Lines ". Following this, Sue orders Will into her office and fires him.
Rachel and Kurt arrive at the parlor and take a few chugs of the booze. The next morning, the two wake up with hangovers and show off their new art. Kurt's end up being a misspelling: "It's Get Better." Rachel says she backed out.
Unique goes the boys room and gets bullied by some of the jocks. They pull off her wig and flush it down the toilet. Unique sings an emotional rendition of " If I Were a Boy ". Sam, Jake, and Ryder want to beat up those who bullied Unique, but she doesn't want it to happen.
Will goes in front of the school board and takes them through dance history, showing them what was considered shocking through the years.
Sue brings Will to her office and tells him she's putting in a unisex bathroom for Unique. It turns out to be a purple Porta-potty covered with question marks bolted to the middle of the choir room.
Kurt goes back to the tattoo parlor to complain. It turns out that Kurt messed up the design when he typed it on his computer. It was his mistake, but the artist asks for the chance to fix it for him.
After making fun of her twerking, Bree tells Marley she hooked up with Jake and proceeds to really rub it in
Marley goes to Jake and asks if what Bree said was true. He admits it and she runs away in tears. Marley sings "[/i]Wrecking Ball[/i]" in the auditorium.
Unique raises her hand and asks to use the bathroom. Will takes her into the hallway and tells her to be herself until the world catches up. Will says he'll let Unique use the faculty bathroom whenever she needs it. Sue sees this.
Sue tells Will she'll give Unique a key to the faculty bathroom if he stops the kids from twerking. He won't do it, thinking the point is rebelling against an unjust policy. On his way out, Will throws a very Sue-esque tantrum.
Kurt shows up with a tongue piercing and a fixed tattoo. It now says "It's got Bette Midler." He says he's been in a trance since Finn died and thinks the piercing snapped him out of it. After he leaves Rachel pulls up her shirt to reveal she did get a tattoo: A small "Finn" on her stomach.
Will tells the kids they're going to stop twerking. Unique realizes he did it for her, to get ride of the porta-potty. He wants them to go "old school Glee" and they sing " On Our Way ".

We open having organized a career fair at McKinley. Will is upset she hasn't arranged for anything in the arts.
Will tells the kids that as tough as it will be to find success in the arts, he believes in pursuing one's dreams. This week the theme is Billy Joel, somebody who had to fight through obstacles to become a superstar. Blaine and Sam both have interviews in New York that week, Blaine with NYADA and Sam with Hunter College. Blaine and Sam open the week with "Movin' Out."
Sam and Blaine will be staying with Rachel, Kurt and Santana this week.
Artie asks Becky what she's going to do after high school. He offers to help with her college search. Sue takes Artie aside and tells him to back off.
Marley isn't ready to forgive Jake. She thinks he'll always be that type of guy.
Blaine tells Kurt he's looking at safety schools, though Kurt thinks he's getting into NYADA. Blaine sings "Piano Man" at Rachel and Santana's diner.
Artie again approaches Becky about college and the choices available to handicapable students. She yells at him to "butt out."
Ryder asks Jake why he'd screw up his relationship with Marley. Jake says that's just who he is and sings "My Life."
Sam has his interview at Hunter College. It doesn't go well. Afterwards Sam tells Rachel he doesn't want to go to college. He has this vision of being a famous male model. Rachel wants to have a model shoot the following day so he can have some pictures to show agencies.
Artie sings "Honesty" to Becky. Afterwards she thinks it means that he is in love with her. He corrects her and says she needs to be honest with herself about a desire to attend college. She's worried about being made fun of.
Marley tells her mother about Jake. She's surprised he's trying to get her back and admits to missing him. She says she's glad they never had sex.
Sam has his photo shoot. He does pics both fully clothed and in his underwear.
Sue brings Artie to her office and yells at him for messing with Becky. Sue tells him she's looked into special needs programs but doesn't think Becky is ready. Artie wonders if perhaps Sue isn't ready to let her go. He says he's found a good Down's Syndrome program at the University of Cincinnati and is going to take her there. Sue seems okay with this.
Ryder asks Marley out. She says she needs a break from men. He promises never to hurt her and asks for a chance. She says she'll think about it and he sings "An Innocent Man." Afterwards she agrees to go on a date with him.
Blaine tells Kurt he doesn't think he wants to audition for NYADA. He tells him he has other interests. Kurt says he realizes Blaine is scared and tries to reassure him.
Artie and Becky look at one of the programs at UC. She ends up sitting in on one of the classes and seems to get along well with the other students.
Sam meets with an agency. She paints a very unglamorous picture of what his life would be like as a male model. He thinks he can take it, but she then tells him he needs to lose 10 pounds.
Kurt and Rachel tell Sam losing weight is a mistake and he should find a new agency. Kurt, Rachel Sam and Blaine sing "Just the Way You Are." Despite her objections even Santana jumps in at the end.
Becky tells Sue she really liked the college. She thinks she's out-grown high school. Sue helps her with her college essay.
Ryder tells Jake that he's with Marley. She tells Ryder that she still needs some space.
Blaine and Sam return from New York and give an update. Sue things their report indicates the foolishness of a career in the arts. Will responds by starting a rendition of "You May Be Right."

We open with Will tied up with a meeting and Blaine leading the kids in idea for Nationals. He's thinking something simple that highlights their voices. They think he's being a control freak and he ends up leaving.
Kurt tells the rest of Pamela Lansbury that he's booked their first gig. He's picked Callbacks, a place associated with musicals, and the rest of the band isn't sure it's the right venue. We see Kurt's fantasy of their first performance, which is a cover of Madonna's " Into the Groove " that absolutely kills.
Blaine calls Kurt to complain about the rest of New Directions not appreciating his leadership. Kurt tells him to be careful not to come off as controlling.
Sue has her evaluation to become full-time principal. One of the school board members says she has his vote. Superintendent Harris asks her to go get a beer and refers to her as a "dude."
Sue tells Becky she's bothered by Harris finding her so masculine. We see that back in the 1980s, she affected a more manly/tracksuit persona to better intimidate the students.
Blaine complains to Brad about not being taken seriously while ignoring Brad's attempts to say something. He decides he'll just sit down and shut up. Some kind of gas comes out of the vent he's sitting next to and Blaine begins to see the choir kids as Muppets. Blaine and the Muppet New Directions sing " You're My Best Friend ". Afterwards they complain he didn't say anything the entire class.
Jake's promiscuity seems to be out of control. And he's being a jerk about it.
Blaine tells Jake something is going on in the choir room and advises him to sit in the back corner.
The next day in class Jake complains that there's no point in teaching them moves they can't keep up with. Marley challenges him to show them his "epic moves" and he performs a " Nasty "/" Rhythm Nation " mash-up with the Cheerios after briefly sitting in the corner. Afterwards, Figgins wakes Jake up, telling him that the rest of the kids left minutes ago. The song never happened.
Blaine makes a Muppet version of Kurt in craft class. Sue, who is wearing heels to school, bans puppets.
Sue finds Will practicing his dance moves and asks him how he's able to maintain his manliness while being involved in choir. She says she has a thing for Harris, but he doesn't view her as a woman. He compares her situation to Ginger Rogers and says he'll help her learn to lead while dancing backwards. He offers to teach her that type of strength in exchange for costume funding. She turns him down and happens to be sitting near the vent, igniting a dream sequence with Will to Fred Astaire's " Cheek to Cheek ".
Bree tells Jake she's pregnant and it's his. She wants to have an abortion and doesn't want to include their parents.
Sue catches Blaine sneaking into her office to get puppet Kurt. She gives him detention, meaning he won't be able to go to New York for Kurt's show.
Blaine calls Kurt to tell him what happened. Kurt is furious and gets even more incredulous when Blaine mentions the puppet.
Only one person shows for the Pamela Lansbury performance, a man who is a huge Angela Lansbury fan.
Sue asks Unique for a lady makeover.
Jake, Blaine, and Becky end up alone in a classroom for eight hours of detention. Blaine starts to see them as puppets who are interested in his life.
Bree tells Jake she got her period. He says he's relieved and she warned him that eventually he's going to knock somebody up for real and she feels sorry for that person. She calls him "toxic."
The newly feminine Sue takes the school board on a tour of the high school. Harris apologizes for not noticing her earlier. During the tour, Figgins attempts a "gotcha!" moment with the gas leak, but Sue reveals she fixed the problem the night before. The board tells Sue they want her to be principal permanently. Afterwards, Sue asks Harris on a date and he rudely declines.
Tina catches Blaine talking to a puppet Tina. She tells him the kids talked it over and they've agreed to listen to his suggestions, whatever they may be.
Jake tells Marley he misses her "every minute of every day." He says he's the only person who can help him be a good person. She tells him he's a good friend, but she doesn't feel the same way about him anymore.
Kurt tells the rest of the band that he's booked a gig at a hot venue in Brooklyn. The lone audience member from their last show made a bootleg and gave it to his nephew, who works at a music hall. A box from Blaine arrive at the apartment in New York. Santana looks in and says "Okay, that's creepy."
Blaine talks to New Directions and tells them his idea is to be less bossy. To celebrate this new Blaine he's made a peace offering. It's puppet versions of all of them. The New York group opens up their box of puppets and the episode ends with a puppet version of " The Fox ".

opens the episode with a statement about the 2012 Christmas episode " Rough Trade Santa " having been rejected by the Fox executives and, after fan complaint from all over the world and heavy edits, the episode will be shown.
Christmas 2012: Will tells the kids their theme for the Christmas tree decoration contest is "Green Is Good". Sam and Tina are in charge and she seems particularly militant about the whole thing. To break the tension, Blaine starts to sing " Joy to the World ", but everyone tells him to shut up.
In McKinley High's Non-Denominational Christmas Club, Artie tells the gang their Nativity scene was defaced. Principal Figgins has authorized a living replacement. Jake asks whether manger scenes are even allowed on school property, but Coach Beiste and Artie decline to answer.
In New York, Santana has stopped by and exchanges presents with Kurt. Rachel shows up and says she's gotten them a gig as elves at Santa Land.
Becky approaches Sam and Tina with mistletoe on her hat demanding a French kiss. Sue arrives and overhears Tina's comments about her letting Becky get away with everything. She admits she's been treating Becky poorly and given her the impression the rules don't apply to her. Sue informs them that she will be judging the decorating contest.
The Santa Kurt, Rachel, and Santana are working with turns out to be an obnoxious drunk. To help keep the antsy kids happy they sing " Here Comes Santa Claus ", but this only ends with them being booed.
Kitty is being particularly nasty to Marley, claiming that she herself has no interest in playing Mary, even though she'll easily get it if she auditioned.
The Glee kids sing " Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree " while working on their decorations.
With Santa a no-show for work, Kurt and Rachel tell the kids Mrs. Claus will be standing in. It's Santana dressed in a rather revealing outfit. She has kids sit on her lap and tell her what they want, but most of Santana's responses are inappropriate.
Sue judges the Glee club's tree. They have an answer for all of her green-related questions. She seems impressed.
Beiste and Will judge the manger auditions. Unique, Marley, and Tina sing " Mary's Boy Child ". Beiste loves it and asks for last-minute auditions. Kitty leaves.
An attractive man named Cody shows up to play Santa. Kurt is smitten and Santana even admits that "her girl-loving vagina is getting tingly". To get to know them better as elves, he suggests dinner at their place that night.
Sue announces that the runners-up for the decoration contest are the Biology club, the 420 club, and the football team, and goes on to proclaim the Glee club as the winners. Angry at having lost, Becky destroys her xylophone.
Kitty has more snark for Marley after she's chosen as Mary. Kitty admits that she's upset that as a Christian she doesn't have the spirit and compares herself to Mary Magdalene.
Cody is impressed with Kurt and Rachel's apartment. They mention having met in Glee club and he pulls out a helium tank for a rendition of " The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) ". They seem to be drinking heavily.
Becky gives Tina and Sam the gift of her baby teeth. She says she feels like a loser after her tree entry was criticized by Sue.
Rachel and Santana talk about the latter moving to New York. They find Kurt and Cody fooling around in the kitchen. The next morning Rachel and Santana wake up hungover to find that Cody has robbed them. They find Kurt bound and gagged in the bedroom.
Tina and Sam decide to give their angel decoration prize to Becky. They think they have an idea to convince Kitty to play Mary.
During the Nativity dress rehearsal, Unique plays the virgin Mary and she sings " Love Child " with the New Directions. Afterwards Kitty is shocked, calling it "the most sacrilegious and profane horror show I've ever seen", and says they have to do it the "right way". They give her the part of the virgin Mary; Kitty not realizing that it was all a set-up for her to take over.
Sam and Tina give Becky the prize, telling her there was a recount. They also offer her a part in the living Nativity.
Rachel returns to the apartment, informing Kurt and Santana that Cody had also robbed Santa Land and that they have all been fired, but she has a new plan: they're singing mannequins inside a department store window.
Becky arrives to the Nativity scene dressed as the Baby Jesus. And Kitty looks perfect. They sing " Away in a Manger " which Kurt, Rachel, and Santana sing simultaneously to a crowd.

We open at the diner. Santana talks about her career not going anyplace at the moment and Rachel says she's been invited to appear on the cover of New York Magazine. She invites Santana to come along and be one of the model in the background.
Tina tells Artie she's not sure about her future. She's been waitlisted at Brown, the only out-of-state school to which she applied. The two talk about their friendship, which leads to a performance of "Whenever I Call You Friend." Afterwards Becky walks in and says Sue wants to see Tina and Artie.
Sue tells Tin and Artie they have tied for valedictorian in every possible way. The plan to break the tie is for them to give the speech to a panel, with the best speech getting the honor.
Rachel and Santana arrive at the photo shoot. The sing "Brave" and Santana eventually joins the picture.
Since Artie knows he's attending film school, Tina thinks he should help her win since she needs it for Brown. He doesn't agree. This leads to a fight where they both rip each other and get pretty personal.
Kurt calls Blaine and tells him he's concerned Starchild is attempting to take over the band. The plan is for Kurt to get as close to him as possible. Rachel is getting nervous because they are auditioning her understudy.
Will tells the kids they need to figure out who gets the second solo for nationals. Tina and Artie both say they want it. This competition takes the form of them singing "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)." Towards the end Tina gets so angry she shoves Artie out of his chair.
Kurt and Starchild discuss his background. Starchild mentions playing the guitar and says he thinks Kurt should try the instrument.
After several mediocre understudy auditions Rachel is stunned when Santana walks out. She sings "Don't Rain On My Parade" and Rupert absolutely loves her. He can't believe it afterwards when Santana says they attended the same high school.
At a music store Kurt and Starchild sing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love."
Santana comes home and immediately a fight breaks out with her and Rachel. They both some pretty terrible things about each other. Santana talks about how much better she is and Rachel slaps her. Rachel says Santana should move out. Santana then gets a call that she got the part as Rachel's understudy.
During the valedictorian "speech off" both Tina and Artie says amazing thinks about the other one and argue they shouldn't get it.
Santana and Rachel fight at the theater. Rupert walks in and says there is media there and he wants to play up the story of the two friends from Ohio making it big in New York. He thinks they'll be bigger stars together. During practice they sing "Every Breath You Take."
Starchild tells Kurt he knows he's been so nice to him because he's worried he is trying to take over the band. Starchild promises he's not trying to do that and the two guys seems to bond. They take a selfie to commemorate the moment and Starchild pretends to kiss him.
Sue tells Artie and Tina they split the vote, meaning the third-place student, Blaine, will be named valedictorian. Becky walks over and shows him the picture of Kurt and Starchild from a social media page.
At the next day's practice Blaine tells the kids he wants to sing a song at graduation instead of giving a speech. He invites Tina and Artie to join him.
Rachel and Santana think one of them needs to leave the apartment. Rachel thinks Santana is trying to "poison" her big break. Eventually Rachel says she's going to leave.
Blaine, Artie and Tina sing "Breakaway" and we see shots of Rachel packing. On her way out she rips up a picture of her and Santana.

We open with Emma bursting into Will's classroom for a quickie in the faculty bathroom. Becky catches them and is shocked. The couple tells Sue they are trying to get pregnant, which is the reason for the unusually sexual habits.
Tina, Sam and Blaine sing "Jumpin' Jumpin.'" Afterwards They know it's probably not right for nationals, they just wanted to try it out as a fun thing to do during as seniors. Artie seems to be left out of the senior mix. When Will mentions them graduating soon Tina starts crying.
Elliot and Rachel seem to be good buddies and we learn that he's letting her stay with him. He resists her latching to him with nicknames like "best gay." They sing "Barracuda."
Blaine tries on his cap and gown and Tina cries again. Along with Sam they want to say good-bye with something fun. Blaine suggests an overnight lock-in.
Emma still isn't pregnant and Will is being aggressive with the approach, scheduling a fertility clinic appointment. His peers think he need to relax and not make Emma too antsy.
Sue announces the lock-in won't be happening. Tina begins to cry once again. Blaine and Sam comfort her and they talk about having their own private lock-in.
Santana talks to Elliot about her plan to sabotage Rachel.
Tina, Sam and Blaine sneak into the school for their lock-in. They sing "Don't You Forget About Me." After the song Becky catches them. She's hopped up on energy drinks and wants to hang out with them.
Will work on the nursery, telling Emma he just wants them to enjoy the journey and see what happens. They sing "Danny's Song" and we see a montage of their attempting to get pregnant.
Blaine sneaks away from Becky and finds Sam and Tina making out. He thinks they've ruined the night.
Rachel arrives at work and finds Elliot hanging out with Santana. One of the tables requests a performance of "Gloria." Both Rachel and Santana sing it, with Eliot backing them up. Both women fight for his attention during the performance. Afterwards they asks him who is better but he declines to answer. He says he's done with them both until they figure out their drama.
Tina and Sam promise Blaine they got it out of their system and want to be a threesome again. But Blaine is still too hurt and tells them he doesn't want to hang out with them anymore.
Kurt attempts to broker a truce between Rachel and Santana. He gets frustrated and tells them they're both out of the band, and asks them to come to his next performance and be civil.
At the club Rachel and Santana agree to be civil. Kurt takes the stage and introduces his new band, One Three Hill. They perform "The Happening."
Rachel and Santana realize that neither of them had many girlfriends. Kurt and Elliot show up and neither of the women are nice to them.
Blaine apologizes to Sam and Tina for overreacting. The three make up.
Will reminds the kids they are one week away from nationals. His plan is for them not to stress over the competition too much, telling them he thinks they're ready. Tina, Blaine, Sam and Artie perform "Hold On."
The episode ends with Emma telling Will she is pregnant.

We open with Will convincing Sam he's a leader in the mold of Finn and he'll need him when they get to nationals in L.A.
Burt and Carole tell the team how much coaching them meant to Finn. They will be joining the team on the trip as chaperones. Will and the kids sing "I Love L.A."
Mercedes meets the kids at their hotel in L.A. She tells them about being discovered and getting a music deal. While Will struggles to check-in to the hotel they run into one of the top teams, Throat Explosion, and their leader Jean.
Marley tells Ryder she's considering New Directions when they get back to Ohio. She's had terrible luck entering contests and is changing her life goals.
The night before the show the kids sneak onto the stage. Sam addresses the group and pulls out a plague featuring a picture of Finn. Jean shows up and tells them to get off the stage.
In the hotel Tina worries about how depressing their situation is. Carole makes a crack about Finn not having the opportunity. When they're alone Carole tells Burt she's not sure she's ready to be around the kids. He says he'll support any decision she makes.
The next morning Jake and Ryder argue over how quickly the latter moved in when he screwed things up with Marley. Ryder mentions Marley quitting Glee. Ryder has some of Marley's songs and want them to try and help her out while they're in L.A.
On the bus Sam notices Finn's plaque is missing. They confront Throat Explosion but Jean doesn't admit to anything. Sam gets back on the bus and gives the kids a pep talk.
Nationals gets under away with the judges introduction: Marlee Matlin, Jackee and Joanna, the inventor of Prancercise. A group from Oklahoma City is first.
We see Burt and Carole pack and leave their hotel room.
Throat Explosion is the second group on stage. They perform an impressive version of "Mr. Roboto," followed by "Counting Stars." Blaine and Sam look nervous.
Three minutes before New Directions take the stage they realize Burt and Carole aren't there. Will starts giving them a backstage talk when Burt and Carole walk in. Carole said they are Finn's legacy and tells them to wipe the floor with the rest of the teams.
New Directions opens with Blaine soloing "More Than a Feeling." Their next selection is "Coming to America," a group effort. The crowd is on their feet. They conclude with "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and a tearful Carole points out to Burt that they're singing all of Finn's favorite songs. Afterwards Sam is emotional.
Mercedes tells Marley her songs are great and she needs to handle rejection better. The guys gave her Marley's songs.
The results come in. New Directions finish second and Throat Explosion takes the championship. The kids are devastated.
Back in Ohio we learn that Jean has returned Finn's plaque. He found out one of his members stole it and he kicked the person out of the group. Sam hugs Carole and apologizes for letting her and Finn down. But Carole and Burt tell them Finn would have been proud. Carole said it was a healing experience for her.
Sue calls Will to her office. We see that the Cheerios has won their national championship. Sue tells him her hands are tied and she has no chance but to shut down Glee club or budget reasons. The choir room will become classrooms and the band equipment will be sold off. Sue tells Will "You didn't lose, the game's just over."
At the diner Kurt rushes to tell Rachel and Santana that the club is being disbanded.
