Born in McKinley, British Guyana, his family immigrated to the United States and eventually settled in Northern Michigan. He learned about the arts through his visits to Interlochen Center for the Arts, a school his sister attended.In college, he was a DJ at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) working at the UM college station WCBN and as a mix show DJ on WDRQ (Detroit) 93.1 FM. In San Francisco, he worked for indie label Classified Records working promotions for Jocelyn Enriquez, Pinay, Julie Plug, M:G, and Drop n Harmony. He opened his own indie label Rhythm Drive Records breaking dance pop records by female singers Malyssa and Alvendia. His biggest love is writing and hopes to continually contribute stories readers will enjoy.A proud Filipino American who has been active in Filipino and Asian American community events since college. Married since 2000 and raising three kids in the San Francisco Bay area.
