The youngest of three children, Kevin Guy Brief was born July 25 in Brooklyn, New York. His parents, Stanley & Corinne Brief moved the family out west. After moving to Southern California as a child, Kevin was an active and popular student, even serving as president of both junior high, and high school. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from California State University Long Beach, Kevin went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the prestigious Asolo Conservatory in Sarasota, Florida. Kevin soon moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he began to build an impressive resume in regional theatre. He made his professional debut there in the role of Mister Macgregor in Peter Rabbit! He soon moved on to many more roles throughout the Midwest, and established himself as a full time working actor in Kansas City, of all places! He had much work there...on stage, in films, in commercials, and such. But Hollywood soon called. His friends, Charlie Brill & Mitzi McCall brought him west to do a play with them...he was soon signed by a major Los Angeles agent...and lo & behold found himself living once again in Southern California...much to his family's delight! Since moving to Los Angeles in the early 90s, Kevin has continued his theatre work in the active small theater world of Los Angeles. Kevin is probably most familiar to audiences for his numerous television appearances. His credits include recurring, guest-starring, and co-starring roles on about 80 television shows. In addition, he has had several leads in made-for-television movies. Kevin has appeared in many feature films and he is excited about his lead role in the soon to be released family film, Matchmaker Mary. Kevin's face and voice are also familiar from his work in a several hundred TV & radio commercials. He is proud to be entering his 20th year as a full time working actor...with no other means of support! In his spare time Kevin enjoys playing with his long-time softball team, the occasional game of golf...and spending time with friends and family. He is very active in his church's drama department. He is happy to be newly married to his favorite landscape architect, Pam, and step-father to Lauren. Kevin looks forward to pursuing new and challenging roles in theatre, television, and film in the future.
