Jon Douglas Rainey was born January 27th, 1970 in the city of Camden, New Jersey. He studied acting at Camden County College, before doing a tour in the U.S. Coast Guard. Upon his return, he worked as a Private Detective for nearly 5 years and started his acting career in Philadelphia. He played Tony at the Venice Plaza in Tony-N-Tina's Wedding and studied acting under the tutelage of Mike Lemon for two years. He did commercial work and starred in independent films before retiring from the P.I. business and moving to New York City to work in entertainment full time. There, he picked up small roles in shows like "Law & Order", "Sex & the City", and "Rescue Me" before being cast as Host of 80 episodes of "It Takes A Thief" on the Discovery Channel. Currently, he is working on projects with his company, OFG Productions and continues his acting career.
