Scout was born and raised in Virginia by two teachers: Jeff & Dorothy Raskin. At an early age, Scout showed the talent and discipline necessary for a career in the arts. At five, she began her career as a child model and shortly became a member of SAG and AFTRA.At seven, she was cast as "Susie-Q" in John Waters' film Cry-Baby, where she got to work opposite Johnny Depp and Ricki Lake. Cry-Baby became an instant cult-classic and she is still recognized by fans today. Through high school, she worked in professional theater, performing at The Kennedy Center and with The Washington Opera Company, and lent her talents to commercials and voice over. She took a short break from acting to get dual degrees in Classics and Marketing from the prestigious College of William and Mary.Following college, Scout high-tailed it out to Los Angeles, and she's been there ever since. Within two years of setting foot in the City of Angeles, Scout was cast in over a dozen independent films and made her television debut, guest-starring on CBS' hit show Criminal Minds. She also launched a highly-successful screenwriting career, authoring over six feature scripts and mentoring other writers.She's known for playing bitches, tough chicks, and the dregs of society. Although, she makes a pretty awesome store clerk or cashier too!
