Born in 1968 in Gibraltar, educated in Dublin (Ireland) and Sherborne (England), Nicholas studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music And Drama in London. Winning the BBC Carleton-Hobbs award for Radio in 1993 he has been heard many times in performances on the BBC's Radio 4 and World Services, as well as numerous UK TV and radio commercials. Amongst many other theatre credits he has appeared at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London's West End as Valentine in Tom Stoppard's award winning play, "Arcadia" and toured with the Royal Shakespeare Company's 1997 production of Henry V. Most recently he played King Charles II in Matthew Francis' world premiere theatre production of Rose Tremain's "Restoration." He will soon be seen in the role of Elyot in Noel Coward's "Private Lives" at Salisbury Playhouse.His talents include blues harmonica, slide-guitar, DJing, stilt-walking, scuba-diving, skiing, and kitesurfing. Nicholas is also a highly skilled horseman.
