Michael is a painter, filmmaker, writer, and actor. His stage acting credits include creating the role of Louis Ironson in the World Premiere of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize winning play, "Angels in America", at the Eureka Theater Company in San Francisco, directed by David Esbjorenson. His film acting credits include "Man of the Year", "Crossing Delancey", Robert Altman's "Kansas City", Hal Hartley's "Book Of Life", and "Let It Snow" (opposite Bernadette Peters). Television acting credits include "Seinfeld", "Law & Order", "Special Victim's Unit", "Criminal Intent", "Another World", "Guiding Light", "New York Undercover", and a recurring role as Detective Bounaventura on the critically acclaimed television series, "Homicide". In 1996, Michael filmed, wrote, produced and directed "Time", which was one of the first Digital Video feature films ever made.
