Initially volunteering his time as a technical advisor to movie/tv shows such as, "CSI Miami","Transporter 2", and the 2006 movie hit, "Miami Vice" with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx, regarding waterway safety rules, Mike quickly grew a strong passion towards helping location managers, producers, directors, and writers understand key regulations needed to provide for the safety of life of their film crews/cast on navigable waters, while filming.With this strong passion and dedication towards promoting safety of life at sea, Mike's positive and energetic personality was quickly noticed by two top Hollywood writers, Al Gough and Miles Millar, creators of "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor". As a result, he received an offer to act in the television pilot "Aquaman", based on the DC Comic character, as a watch officer to Lou Diamond Phillips. Following this opportunity, Mike greatly learn to respect the art of acting.After this TV pilot, he was casted to act in the writer-director Howard Himelstein's coming-of-age dramedy titled, "My Sexiest Year", as Fabrizio's Yacht Captain, due for release in September 2008. This movie was produced by one of Hollywood's top film producers, Michael Cerenzie, who also produced "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" starring, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ethan Hawke, and Marisa Tomei.As luck continued following My Sexiest Year, Mike landed a small role as the perfect father on the beach in the movie, "Bachelor Party 2 - The Last Temptation", a 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment sequel to the 1984 Tom Hanks' comedy Bachelor Party (film).
